Good enough except for a few bits...
A little short here and there. It took awhile to figure out how to hook a good fingernail into the rubbery edge crack on a long side and figure out how to get the rubbery outer bit off to get the installation started. I didn't want to ruin it but....I upgraded from a Spigen case, after the Otterbox got panned a lot for a touch transfer issue through the screen protector for the 6 plus that is what I bought. Spigen had an okay case but some of the open ports were an issue.Notes: the inner hardbox, is a pain in the patoot to get to part especially if you have put your phone in it and closed it. I did everything possible to get all the glurp off the screen and both sides of the protector and still had stuff hermetically sealed in there so had to break in once more and try to clean it again. Putting the rubber part on was a massage it into place, it did go into place though. It is bigger and heavier, thicker, wider, longer, than the Spigen case. it does feel more solid. Buttons are a bit stiff but I expected that with the way the case is made. I can deal. Thumbprint button works. With the screen protector, there is a bit of bubble up, and one has to be firmer and more precise with all items (typing, swiping, tapping this or that, scrolling). I am going to remove the plastic, go with a new gorilla glass screen protector and live then with the better of both worlds. I will get the screen sensitivity back, have the hard front that won't scratch nearly as easily, and have the extra drop protection and port protection. If you clip the holster over the face, you have a nearly bomb proof protection system for a rough environment. It won't be waterproof, but I need sturdy worse. My spouse just destroyed his phone, the gorilla glass screen protector chipped but stayed intact but the phone face shattered behind it. I ordered a pair of these cases for both of us, and am doing the first try while his comes back. If he will use the holster clip to at least protect the phone when he's not using it, I think we have solved both...Pros... heavy and solid. Covers the power port and the mini plug port as well as that little switch upper left that turns things off and forever gets nudged off. Sturdy for rough living.Cons... can drive you insane getting it open to insert phone and likes to static cling gunk to be sealed in with the phone on the face. Plastic seems scratch prone. The issue of gap and sensitivity seems to be there yet, but can be worked around. Seems impossible to get the plastic inner case open again if you've put your phone in it.I gave it 4 stars because I will have to do some post-purchase mods, but at least those have been pointed out in other reviews.

Good fit
Well first of all i got one of the used iphone otterboxes so take my review with a grain of salt.So i purchased the used one at about half the price as the brand new ones and wasnt dissapointed at all. my iphone 6 fits in snugly. The buttons work well with the phone and the screen responsiveness is up to par. I used it out in my last deployment so it will protect your phone as far as military ruggedness goes. Ive dorpped it several times and the phone is still like brand new with no blemishes at all. Now here is the downside. The screen protector is not exactly flush on my iphone screen. Theres an approximate millimeter or so of space between the screen protector and actual screen of my phone.Sooo if dirt or sand somehow gets into the phone you will see it accumulate between the screen and screen protector. IF buying this used i would recommend getting a seperate probably plastic screen protector for the phone. If buying one of those tempered glass screen protectors which i have tried it feels good between the screen and protector however it just doesnt feel right with the way the home button protector feels with the added space from the glass. I feel as if id break the home button plastic from extensive use. With that yes the complete screen to the home button is completely covered with a protector. It is not waterproof though and im adding that just in case your wondering. There is notheing preventing water from entering from the front camera/hearing part or the bottom speaker. Those parts are open and may allow sand/dust/dirt to enter. Still a pretty darn good case if i may say so. With that i will add again that i bought this case used and that space problem between the screen and screen protector is probably the reason for why it was returned. I have read other reviews how that seems to be a problem with the first generation otterboxes for the iphone 6 but hopefully they have resolved that problem by now. At half the price as a brand new otterbox tho its was an excellent offer/buy. I would still buy another one if need be and probably used again. First time i bought a used otterbox off amazon warehouse the otterbox fit perfectly and flawlessly with my iphone 4. Thanks for reading and hope my review helps.

Best case ever!
I have bought the defender case for at least three of my iPhones. It saves my phone whenever I happen to drop it and it does drop now and then. Yes it’s bulky a little bit and adds weight to the phone but well worth it. Because it has plastic over the top of the screen it sometimes makes me press a little harder on the screen. Some people I know have said they’ve taken the plastic protection off. I also have a glass protector on top of The original screen. The plastic can sometimes get scratched and if it gets to that point I might consider taking it out. But I like to have the protection. I like the clip that comes with it because for some of my clothes I’m able to have it with me all the time and I know where it is. Otherwise as I said it’s a little bulky but I can put it in my purse usually. If I don’t have it on me I do lose it and have to go hunting for my phone. I would have preferred a brighter color like red but at the time I could not find it in that color. It is not totally waterproof and that is usually not a problem but once in a while I’ll spell something from a cup I’m carrying and have to take the case off to dry inside of the phone. It’s not a lot of water usually but I don’t want to take a chance that maybe water could get in. It’s not always easy to get that case of quickly. The outer box company has been very responsive when I’ve had a problem like one of the tab covers falling off the phone case And they have replaced it for a shipping charge of about five dollars. The initial cost on Amazon is far better than what it would cost to buy it at a store or are other places online.Sometimes I feel like I’d like to get a fancier case but it’s not worth it for me to do so.

Very chunky
This case is very solid and I'm sure it will provide a phonomenal amount of protection, but it does make the phone huge! It's not waterproof and dust can still get in, despite the flaps which cover the ports. I carried it for about a week before giving up and buying a VRS design case.

Solid case, no gap issues for me, worried about charger flap.
This is the second Otterbox (6plus, 4S-battery case) I've owned and I've been happy with both of them. This one seems authentic (other reviews have commented on fake products), I can't tell the difference. The fit and finish is precise and it looks solid. The other frequent concern was a gap between the screen protector and the screen. I left the protective screen covering on that came with the phone; cut off a section at the top for the speaker and a section at the bottom for the home key. I don't notice a "gap" issue. I don't play games on my phone, so I'm not touching the screen a lot, but the 6 plus works fine with the screen protector. I did notice a gap issue on the 4S Otterbox case, I could feel a space on the 4S case but it still worked fine. The other common compliant was the fingerprint scanning. I had to re-scan my fingerprint after installing the case as it would not recognize my pre-case scan. But once re-scanned, I was able to use this feature without having to remove the tape-like covering. This case does add significant bulk to the phone. I notice the increased width, making it harder for one-handed operation. It was barely one-hand usable before the case, but now I can't reach across the phone and expect my thumb reach very far on the screen. I'm finding I'm relying on the rubber texture and holding the phone on a corner instead of reaching across the entire phone. This seems to be working and I'm not as worried if I drop my phone as this case is a beast. I found the naked phone a bit slippery and almost too thin to be comfortably held. The case comes with the belt clip which I plan to take with me if I want the kids to be entertained with a video using the stand feature, otherwise I think it would look odd to carry such a large phone on your hip. My minor issue with this case would be the 2 flaps that cover the head phone jack and charger port. The rubber flaps are stiff and don't seem like they are made bend open that far. I'm concerned that repeated open/close would stretch out the bottom rubber edge of the case. My 4S Otterbox had more flexible/softer rubber flaps and I think they opened the other way (up vs down) which I think is superior to the 6 plus case.

Best phone cases in the world. Just a little boring tho.
It's an Otterbox Defender what more can a say? Best phone cases on the market. A little boring tho. Really need some cool colors and designs in the Defender line up. Like PURPLE!

Very good and Authentic
Bought the black color. Very good protection to my iphone 6+. Mine is authentic as i bought it from amazon.ca and not from a 3rd party seller. My only complaint is screen touch sensitivity is affected because the screen protector does not stick to the iphone's screen unlike a real screen protector. This will be my phone's casing during outdoor activities. Thank you Amazon.ca!
