For hot days on the trail, the podium dirt series chill keeps your drink cold twice as long thanks to the insulated double-wall construction. As the ultimate bike bottle for both recreational and competitive cyclists alike, it features an integrated mud cap to keep the dirt out of your water, a high-flow self-sealing jet Valve and easy to squeeze ergonomic design. The optimized cage fit means you won't fumble to grab or stow your bottle and because it's 100% free of BPA, bps and bpf, you'll ingest nothing but cold, clean water.

Not as pictured.
The podium chill is much less attractive than what is pictured. It has an opaque plastic over it and makes it look much less appealing than the darker, almost matte look pictured. Should have saved some $$ and got one of the other colors or older design. The old podium chill was easier to squeeze and dispense more water at once, as the new neck design prevents the bottle from collapsing as easy. The cap cap design can now be disassembled for cleaning.. Although, I was happy with the old cap too. This bottle is also treated with an anti microbial called hydro guard (silver sodium hydrogen zirconium phosphate).

Bad Corporate Values
I have been a camelbak fan since 1993.Unfortunately this product does not life up to Camelbak's own corporate values of being "... obsessive about what we make, how it's made and for whom we make it. We care about the way our products impact people and the environment."Also, Camelbak's Supplier Social Responsibility Code is full of loopholes and is nothing more than a feel good measure they can point to and say they are doing something. If they really cared about the environment or human rights they would not be manufactured in China.

They work
I have been riding gravel this summer. Everything on my bike is covered in dirt and dust during a ride. CamelBak dirt series have a 'mudcap' that protects the nozzle from getting grime in it. Mud caps themselves are extremely overpriced IMO, so I picked up these bottles that have them already attached. While the bottles/caps work beautifully on gravel, I find that grabbing a bottle from my bike, flipping the cap, and drinking is a bit leery while one-handed steering down a loose dirt road.I'll probably keep one or two of these bottles on the bike moving forward, though I'm considering either a frame bag or hydration backpack moving forward.

Keeps the dirt out
The only advantage to this bottle is the cap and it's the only reason why I bought it. It keeps the dirt out when I'm mountain biking, but I don't know why CamelBak can't make a cap to fit all their bottles, instead of making me buy a new one. Update: Turns out they do make a cap you can buy (for Podium bottles), CamelBak Podium Mud Cap. I bought a couple. They fit great.

All depends on what you're looking for.
So, I got back into riding. I wanted cold water. This said insulated, but they really mean just that. It's like beer coozy insulated with a little air gap - but not a vacuum. So, if you put a lot of ice, and water, it'll last a couple hours and still be cold. I really like the cap, works great to squeeze, keeps dirt out. Great water bottle. Now, if you want ice cold water, the Camelbak Mag-Chute 20oz fits in the bottle holder. That will keep water cold with some ice all day in direct sun. It's vacuum sealed; however, it's metal, and you'd have to find a cap to your liking.Depending on the ride, or how long, or if you need more than 20oz of ice cold water, I might just put the 40oz mag-chute in a backpack.Hydration packs work great also, but not cold water.

Works! But I wish lid is more secure
I bought this because I was drinking dirt and dust from my polar bottles that don't have a cover and the debris from the trail get kick up and land all over bottom and it's just nasty. So I wanted a lid and this bottle fits the bill because it does have a lid, it's squeezable, has good water flow, none of that plastic smell (at least not yet after 1-2 months), insulate a bit and make sure I don't drink dirt. I must say this is better than a polar bottle and I am lucky to get it on sale for around $10. I rather have another colour but this colour was the cheapest. It's a good one.

Not insulated
I live in AZ & thought this bottle was “it” for my morning’s 18 mile ride. I received this Sunday & returned today (Tuesday) after one use. Besides the fact that the water tasted funny; the 5 ice cubes melted within 45 mins of riding in a 78° weather. There’s no way this bottle is for real heated days. I had warm water for the remaining 9 miles back home 😑Also; the mud cap is a joke and I was road biking. It couldn’t even handle light dust...

You can get the rubber cap cheaper
Don't buy these water bottles, just buy the caps that can go on your standard bottles. I find that these have less capacity for liquid, and they are hard to switch to the open position for some reason. The mechanism in the lid seems heavy so watch out weight weenies. Cap works great for dust, but you might still drink some when you tilt the bottle up and some dust falls into your throat. Sorta gimmicky but if every last drop counts before the next checkpoint, maybe worth the extra grams. Go with white bottles, so you know how dirty they get.

Decent water bottle
Decent sized water bottle, although I would've liked it to be around 750ml, this is about 610ml.Keeps water cool longer than other water bottles but don't expect anything out of the ordinary.I usually fill it with I lot of ice cubes and this really helped. The bottle also disassembles easily for cleaning.

Doesn’t stay cold
Not bad as a normal bottle but I paid a higher price expecting it to keep cold a bit longer

Great for cycling, great for gym sessions too.
Used for use in the gym. Keeps water cool very well, I’ve used Camelbak kit for years so this was a no brainier for gym work or cycling

Leakproof
Good tight seal on lid, won’t leak however trying to unlock the lid with one hand is really difficult, it’s very stiff. So if going to use it whilst riding a bike or a horse it might be a bit tricky. I am hoping that with use it will get easier!
