Grabbling hook
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This hook appeared to be light weight enough for me to throw it up to a branch that is hanging down from a tree in my backyard. Weight:The weight is really good and it works to throw up to try to hook onto the hanging branch.Size:The size is perfect for my needs.Build quality:This little hook is really sturdy and grads on to whatever I want to hold on to.

Rope is cheap
Hook is good will do what I’m using it for but rope that comes with it is cheap it was fraying in one spot and it was brand new

Grapple is nice & sturdy but not rope
Had to go in water to retrieve the grapple when the rope broke on the 2nd throw! Grapple is nice just the rope is crap. Get yourself a rope to pull more than 10#.

Great Hook
Bought to use on my boat. Works well as a anchor or claw to pull boat ashore.

Passed the test !
This is a great little hook but use the line for something else that is light duty. The line is definitely the weak link. Get some 850 USA made paracord or bigger. I pulled out some big (8 inch thick limbs) out of my pond with the hook and some 550 USA made paracord. The hook didn’t bend or break but I could feel the stress on the USA made paracord I had. I’m upgrading to 850 USA made paracord because this tough little hook deserves it. Great tool!
