My previous 40-watt incandescent bulbs ran so hot I couldn't touch the lamp cover. These 5-watt LEDs run much cooler and put out at least as much light! They also last MUCH longer than incandescents.

I needed to replace the light on my old student desk. It has an attached hutch/bookcase and there's a desk light underneath the shelf that lights my work area. It's a very old desk that I hadn't used for many years so I was not especially optimistic that I'd find a bulb that fit right away. But this one did the trick, first try, and I am so pleased. The old incandescent light would get pretty warm after a while, but this is an LED light that doesn't get warm at all, and is rated for 10,000 hours (that's over 400 days!) It came in a set of 3, so I pretty much won't need another one for years! Anyway - not to get all gushy about a lightbulb - it works great.

I ordered these bulbs to replace the old style incandescent hotdog bulbs I had in my ceramic Christmas Trees because they get so got inside the tree. These LED Bulbs were the perfect size, brightness, and don’t get hot at all. Worked perfectly as I thought they would.

After the intal flicker, the light output is uniform, better than the incandescent bulbs I replaced.

Used to replace an incandescent bulb for a free-standing piano lamp- these work great, without the heat.

Love the LED- works great on the dimmer. Color is warm and perfect at 2700. Standard bulbs had a short life- so hoping I won’t be purchasing again anytime soon.
