I liked the base design and decided to buy this shelf unit in the hopes that I could modify it. Fortunately I was able to! I considered making this myself from regular pipe and fittings but I liked how this unit did not have any exposed threads and the price seemed reasonable. The pipe they use is a lightweight steel, so not as strong but lighter and quite adequate for what this is used for. The fittings are close to legitimate, cast steel pipe fittings. The wood is actually solid wood, although they are made from multiple boards joined together on edge. I anticipated that I would have to refinish the shelf boards or purchase new ones in order to be satisfied. I was wrong. My wife was happy with the finish they came with (yay!) and the wood was adequate quality. I could have sanded and stained the wood if I had wanted. Yes, the distressed/reclaimed finish is only on one side, but that doesn't seem to be an issue either. I was able to shorten and boards by 3 inches and then drill another 1 1/8" hole for the pipe. I didn't have to worry about the raw cut edge of the shelf board since it was going up next to a wall. I also didn't want the distressed look on the pipes. The finish is fine, and in another circumstance it probably would suffice, but I wanted a more clean appearance for this project. Painting was easy enough, and I took a grinder to some of the rough edges of the pipe fittings, that mate to the shelf boards, before I gave the whole thing a coat of satin black. I am happy with the quality of this shelf unit and I think it has good value. I don't think making one from scratch would have been easier and the time saved seems quite worth the price. As the instructions that came with it state, it is customizable.

Easy to assemble and install on the wall.Gives a good amount of extra space for towels and cosmetics.

I was not pleased about when you tighten the bars together, to get them to match up one had to stay loose, however it still worked putting it to wall. I simply loved this piece! I placed it above my toilet and it totally added richness to my bathroom!

Product was exactly as described. Went together pretty easily. All the parts and screws were included with extra screws and anchor if needed.Very sturdy/stable once assembled.

The product itself is actually black painted pipe and wood. The look is great and it is pretty sturdy and heavy. The only issues is that the piping needed tape on the threads to keep it from being so loose and straight to the wall when tightening. The other issue was the drywall fasteners just popped through the drywall when trying to start the screws. Never could get one screw started in those fasteners. I ended up purchasing a heavier rated fastener with a lip to keep them from going through the wall. Looks great, however lost time having to go back to the store for fasteners.

This shelving unit is such a great piece that adds a rustic feel to your home. I’d been searching for an appropriate shelf to use in my very very small toilet room. I ordered this unit on a Monday and it was delivered via Amazon in 2 days... it’s Prime eligible. It was packaged extremely well. A box inside a box and all parts were adequately wrapped in bubble wrap and taped securely. All parts were in tact. The metal has a great industrial patina and all the parts attached easily. The wood shelving was a beautiful surprise! Real wood with a great rustic finish.I unwrapped and assembled the unit in less than 10 minutes by myself. I was able to hang the shelf using the wall anchors and screws provided in less than 15 minutes. This product is sturdy! You will need two people to install it. It's heavy, so nails will not support the unit, you must use screws. I thought the arrangement in the photo was so pretty, it inspired me to create a similar one (I totally copied the design, lol). Honestly, the 2 shelves unit would have suited my needs. I ❤️ this shelving unit but the $99 price tag is too high. I'm keeping it though because it elevates our ghetto bathroom (we rent).

I had a lot of check boxes when searching for rustic pipe shelving. I love that this set came with a towel bar and that the wood is sturdy and real and that it seems like a solid wood plank. The color is great for what I needed and although I'm not in love with the silver patina on the rustic pipes, I'm okay with it and won't detract from how lovely it is. We installed it very easily although the towel bar installation is a little bit tricky. Try not to take too many pieces apart and maybe find a drill with a 90° angle lol. Otherwise it's really simple to put up and we didn't even have to use the studs in our wall.

These are fantastic. They were relatively easy to install, but was a bit tricky and could not do alone.Attaching the piping to the wall is easy, but attaching the shelf to the piping was a bit of a pain. The shelves did not come with pre drilled holes so here’s what I did:- place piping against wall where I wanted them and used a sharply to mark the drill points.- placed the sleeves faced down in a counter, pleaded the pipe where I wanted them, then placed the U connectors down and marked the drill points with a sharply.- installed the pipe against the wall- installed the shelves onto the pipingDoing it this way was awkward because I had to go from below and drill from below while they were resting in the piping. I had my partner hold them down. The reason I didn’t attach them first is because they block a few of the holes you’ll need to install it to the wall.This didn’t bother me as I like a project, and they look fantastic! They are very sturdy, love the rustic look, and for a very small bathroom it provides a LOT of storage space.I will definitely buy these again when I need wall shelves as I love this look. They come as 3 separately so you can space them how you like.

Purchased 2 for a basement bar we are building. Great product. Easy to assemble and exactly what I was looking for. The shelves are sturdy and look amazing.

Installation requires some patience, space, and definitely more than 1 person. The finish on the piping can scratch if you are not careful while handling. The wood shelves have a nice finish and grain. Instructions were not the clearest to follow. Be sure to use plugs when installing - it is heavy! Despite the frustration encountered while assembling, the price point and quality were worth it. Looks great!

This set looks beautiful in my bathroom. It's hard to tell what the wood shelf part is composed of as it doesn't feel like raw wood but it looks nice. The metal supports are heavy duty.Just be sure not to use a drill with your anchors like I originally did because it strips the anchors. Hand tighten with a screwdriver.I only used 2 of the 3 shelves. I'll find somewhere else for the third one I'm sure!

This shelf is definitely unique, not something you will see in anybody else’s house. The design of using 1” pipes is very simple but cool. Looks great on the wall and has lots of room. Shelf is quite large when fully put together.
