ABC Products Replacement Grace Rechargeable Battery Pack for Mondo ACC-IRCLI, GDI-IRC6000, GDI-IRC6000R, GDI-IRC6000W, RFB Internet Digital Radio etc

I have the OEM model of this battery for my Grace Digital radio and I purchased this as a gift for someone who also has the same radio. I charged it in my radio before giving it as a gift and the radio did not know the difference. It charged and ran my radio just like the OEM battery. Have not verified the charge time, but I used it for background music for at least an hour or so as a test with no problems. As another reviewer pointed out, it might be few millimeters shorter than the OEM battery which will not affect operation. Probably a folded piece of paper in the battery compartment would prevent it from moving around.

Do Not Buy This Battery!! I tried 2 of these batteries and they both rapidly overheated, melted the battery casing and produced a strong odor.It's my belief that if the safety circuitry of the Grace Mondo+ radio hadn't shut power off to the battery it would have damaged the radio and possibly caused a fire. When I sent an email to ABC to report these failures they claimed to have "no knowledge of any problems". I then sent another email to ABC and this time I copied and pasted the many negative Amazon reviews of these batteries overheating and other problems. ABC is certainly aware of these problems now. I have also reported the overheating issues to Amazon since this is a safety issue.I have been using the official Grace Mondo+ battery for about a month now and it is performing perfectly. You will pay more for the Grace Mondo+ battery but you will get a much better product and will not have a fire hazard in your home!

If I could give this minus stars I would!This battery arrived looking like the shrink wrap covering was not correctly manufactured leaving the side of the circuit board exposed and the label was smushed up. I tried it in the radio anyways but immediately the Mondo screen started going haywire while the radio turned itself off and kept rebooting. The battery itself became extremely warm very quickly so I removed it right away. It was clearly defective and I am sure it could have caused a major issue and permanently damaged the radio had I kept it plugged in. I returned it as damaged/defective and ordered the authentic battery offered from Grace Digital. When that one came it connected with no issues at all and showed the charging icon on the screen.Ordering from this company to save a few bucks was an unsafe mistake!

Nice replacement battery at a considerable savings. I am seeing long playing time with the battery. If you are replacing the Grace Digital battery with this it would be wise to peel off the rubber cushion from the old battery to use to keep the new one from rattling in the body of the radio.The savings is important because I don't believe the service life of these batteries is particularly good. Not because the batteries are not good but because the lithium-ion batteries don't like to sit around at full charge with the radio plugged in. It shortens their life. I use my Grace radio as a clock radio full time and a portable radio as necessary. I expect if you use the radio off ac power a lot you may see better service life for the battery.At half the price of the Grace battery this seems a pretty good deal.

radio stopped working during 1st night w/ battery in Mondo+ . Radio still works fine w/o battery. Battery was HOT when I removed it.UPDATE: purchased a second battery and it has been working fine for about 5 days. They may have a QA/QC issue, so beware. It would be nice if they could just send a replacement rather than returning the defective and creating a whole new order..

Perfect replacement for the Grace internet radio. Batteries last all night.9/29/16What I thought was a great replacement turns out to be a dud. After six months, the battery will not take a charge. I believe the wire connections may have been disturbed because the battery is actually a bit small for the compartment and bangs around inside when you move the radio (and after all, why would you want a battery-packed radio other than to make it somewhat portable).Then again, maybe you do get what you pay for, as the next alternative battery is more than twice as expensive as this $20 battery.

This item is suggested to buy with your radio by Amazon but it does not work with the radio.I bought one and the battery burnt up within the hour of install. I returned for an exact replacement and that one burnt up as well. It also is very loose inside the radio and rattles around.I called Grace Digital. They said that they are getting so many calls about this knock off battery. They sent me their approved battery if I would send them the burnt battery. GRACE'S battery fit perfect and doesn't rattle or burn up.

Worthless! It took forever to charge this battery, I used it briefly and went to bed with the radio off. Next day = dead battery. I went for the low price but this was a total waste of money. Amazon.com shouldn't sell this product; it'll ruin their reputation.
