A must have for your sled!
I wore some pretty big holes in the bottom of my sled hauling firewood over the years. While checking out the prices of a new sled I found these runners. Looked like exactly what I needed so I ordered them. They work perfectly. My sled slides over the ground better than when it was new. They were fairly easy to attach with the right tools and drill bits. I duct taped the runners in place before I started drilling and was finished in under an hour. I highly recommend these!

Work Great on our Sled
This runner worked perfectly for a sled of ours that needed the runners to be replaced after lots of use in the winter months. They went on easily and work just as well as the originals.

I purchased the sled body at my local hardware store on sale. I live in the mountains of the Western Catskills, bluestone country, and knew the bottom would take a beating. I looked online and found the runners and purchased them along with the rigid tow bar with spring damper. Installation was easy and took a casual hour. I suggest the following, read the directions, drill out the holes as directed, there are dimples in the sled body to show where to drill and use a manual philips screw driver to snug the screws down. The runners our soft and it would be easy to strip out, they remind me of a semi-rigid plastic carving board material. Being it was winter and cold I used a heat gun. After installing the first/ front screw, I had my neighbor support the strip as I gently heated the strip and bent it around the sled body. After installation I towed my 350 pound neighbor for a test, no problem. I did find that I needed to place a piece of conveyor strip rubber, the kind you see at the supermarket cash register line, off the back of my atv to deflect snow and exhaust. The sled cover is a good idea or the sled could fill up with snow splash of the drive atv/ snowmobile.

Extra slides for the ease of pulling.
I added these to the middle of my jet sled jr to help the middle from wear and tear.Only downfall I found was having to drill and countersink the screw holes myself. Not a big deal at all.Filled with junk and drug it around the yard, they’re slick for sure.

Keeps your sled sliding
Makes your sled ridgid enough to load the heavy ice fishing gear if you turn it into a smitty sled. And makes your sled work better if it’s not a smitty sled!

2 person job to put them on
the runners are hard to hold and get the screws in unless you have help. they need to be heated some to get them to bend
