Zazzy BandzCurly Thick Hair Headband - Hair Blending (Slim Relaxed Fit, Clear)

As a kid, I could wear headbands in my hair with no problem. As an adult, headbands just do not look right in my hair at all. I look downright ridiculous. I've tried all kinds of headbands: hard, soft, plastic, material, combs in the headband, no combs, etc. None looked right or worked so I gave up. About 4 months ago, I noticed my vision was beginning to change. I became unable to read a book, the words were too blurry. I chalked it up to fatigue but it didn't go away. In the middle of the grocery store, I had to ask my husband to read the expiration date on a coupon (not the first time I had to ask him to read something to me since my vision had changed!) because I couldn't see it. As we argued our way to the checkout line (He was nagging me to go to the eye doctor..I'm usually the one who does the nagging! lol) we passed the store's medicine aisle and right on the end of the aisle was a display of reading glasses. I tried a bunch and found I could FINALLY see clearly with the strongest pair. I paid $4.99 to the reading glasses and have been able to read books once again. I began to do that thing where I'd put the glasses on top of my head when I wasn't reading rather than remove them entirely. And I liked the way my hair looked with the glasses working as a headband! This was EXACTLY what I'd been looking for in a headband and it FINALLY looked right with my hair!! But I couldn't walk around in public wearing glasses on top of my head, could I? Of course not. For the heck of it, I googled 'is there a headband that looks like I have glasses on top of my head?'. I didn't expect a response at all. To my surprise, Zazzy Bands popped up! I couldn't believe it! I thought for sure I was the only person who was looking for a headband that made my hair look like i had a pair of glasses sitting on my head! lol. I immediately bought one. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Though its a bit square shaped, it felt fine on my head. It wasn't tight nor was it loose. It didn't cause any pain at all and soon after I put it in my hair, I forgot it was there. I didn't even feel it! It held my hair back exactly the way glasses hold it back...EXACTLY what I'd been looking for in a headband for such a long time! I LOVE this headband and now that I know it works and looks great, I will be ordering more headbands in different colors! THANK YOU for making a headband that does what I want to it and makes my hair look GOOD!

I don’t leave reviews but this requires it. Y’all this is a square plastic band just missing one side. It does not hold hair back at all. It sticks off the head and looks like points. I have thick hair so I was looking for a glasses look on my head. I have no issue with sunglasses so I really wanted this to work. It did NOTHING. I even just sat it on my head to see what it looked like. I had horns. The worst product I have bought in years! If I could give it no stars I would.

I liked the way sunglasses look when you scoot them on your head. Regular headbands were always to tight for me (fat head.. 😬) So this was supposed to fit like sunglasses but it's too big. It won't stay on.

I can imagine that this headband would only work well for extremely thick hair. Uncomfortable and actually not very attractive at all. Don't waste your money.

I have long thick curly hair. Headbands can be uncomfortable after a few hours and those that tie around the whole head do not stay for me. They always come loose. This feels a little weird at first because it is not tight at all, but it will hold. I can leave it on all day with no problem or I can use it on wet hair and let my hair dry with it on and then take it off and my hair still looks nice without it falling right into my face again.

This a very comfortable headband, more so than other "eyeglass" headbands I've tried.

I have super thick, naturally curly hair, and I love the way head band works but I've always had a larger head some normal head bands don't always sit well (ha ha). I actually heard about these kinds of head bands from a friend, so I thought I'd give them a try. 15$ is a little more than I'd normally spend, but I love the look of head bands and my hair looks cute in that sunglass style. This is just.... awful. It is uncomfortable, it doesn't sit like sunglasses would, it doesn't pull my hair the way sunglasses would. There was another style I was considering trying and now I both regret not going with it first and I'm also scared to waste time trying another one. I'm definitely sending this back though. Just not worth it.

For someone with curly hair always looking for the right hair accessory this one was a disappointment for me. It does not sit well nor does it feel comfortable. I did purchase the one according to the instructions listed. I really wish I would have returned it.
