K-Swiss bought Palladium, fyi, and now they're way more fashion than function :(
This is essentially a fashionable ankle-high rain boot. There is no insulation, or even cushion in the toe or anywhere in the upper part of the shoe. I guess they might work as a decent summer rain boot, but they're hard to take on an off. The opening is pretty small and I really had to pull to get them on. I was hoping they could be slipped on easily and worn loose, and then tied tight with the laces for hiking/running, etc.I think Palladium was much better quality before it was bought by K-Swiss (ugh). It's sad because I thought I'd really found something with Palladium boots.

A whole size down
This boot was a bit disappointing to me so I'll be returning it and here's why...normally I'm a size 9 (kinda narrow) but I ordered an 8 1/2 and I could've even fit in an 8 (I'm guessing). The 8 1/2 just needs an insole which seems like a necessity for this boot because there is absolutely no support! You feel the rubber of the base under your foot which is not a great feeling if you're in a colder climate. I like the look but its not worth $100+/-...the shaft of the boot seems shorter than the picture which is why the drawstring (which I love the idea of) doesn't quite fulfill its purpose. I didn't test the water repellency but they look like they'd keep the feet dry. Still, I'm looking for something light on the feet and more form fitting on the ankle. This boot just missed it!Okay so I saw the "vapor" color for less than 50$ and decided to reorder a size 8 and see if I'd like it better and I did! Sometimes a better fit and different color is what is needed (and half the price)! That was a whole size down for me! Now its a keeper...

Not for wide foot
They're just ok. They are primarily all rubber with absolutely no insulation. They feel like a rubber rain boot. Definitely not worth $100. I got them on sale and really wanted to like them. I probably would've kept them but they were a little too narrow for me. These are not made for those with a slightly wide foot as being rubber its not like they will stretch out. Going up a size will only cause the foot to slip. Had to return -BUT I bought the Baggy Sneaker directly from Palladium and the canvas allows for a little give so comfy & super cute!

These are great boots! I live in cold climate
These are great boots! I live in cold climate, and the waterproofing both insulates and keeps my feet dry when I'm tromping around in the snow. They're also super versatile. I feel like I can dress them up or down. I'm a 12-years-and-counting Palladium addict! I wear 9.5 and they fit true to size (both for women's and unisex). They always have awesome new styles. And best of all, Amazon is a great place to get the best deal on them!

These have a hip look to them. The sole is terrific for rough sidewalks, cobblestones and walking. I recommend them.
Fun shoe and great for walking on cobblestones
