Always stretch the selfie sticks from 2 corners: first from the head where you will screw in the Holder and second from the lower end but above the plastic/iron/silicon grip. All the grips are molded around the iron/aluminium rods, so if you pull by holding the grip very hard sometimes it may disrupt the mold with the rod. 2. When you fold the sticks always push it from the top and take care of the 3.5 mm jack while pushing it from top. 3. If you don't use the stick for months and you use it suddenly and if it feels tight then just apply 2 drops of oil in between the rods.
