Only one company makes OLED screens of this high quality - that’s LG - but Sony have combined the incredible LG true UHD OLED Screen with their X1 processor - result is a picture so true and clear it’s like comparing SD to HD when comparing HD to UHD. When you combine with Sky Q UHD or 4K Stream Netflix the picture quality is astounding. But it’s not just the picture - it’s the true Dolby 40w system that projects sound through the screen. You can pay over £4K for an OLED TV and it will have the same picture quality as this one. If you wait for the AG9 all you get is 60w sound and a different stand - the screen and X1 are exactly the same

I can’t fault the picture but ease of use is not as good as previous Sony models. For instance, it will quickly loose terrestrial channels if the signal falls below a certain level - it won’t wait for them to recover and so you have to re-tune every week or so. Also satellite tuning is a joke - it looses all of them after a few days and re-tuning takes forever and also there is no guide for satellite channels - not that there is any point using satellite stations because of the constant re-tuning problem. Also the YouView terestrial channel guide can’t be used to turn on the TV or change to a program in the future (my old Sony TV could do this). So overall I’m not totally satisfied with it and regret buying - I should have done more research.
