Garbage, Cheap Quality, No parts available, not even a flapper!!!!
After 5 years, 3 pumps, 2 cracked flapper valves, defective flapper seal, and a entire toilet replacement. I still have the same problem. Pump cycles every 15 seconds. They sent me a whole new toilet assembly when all I needed was a flapper gasket! A toilet with all bastard parts and no parts available. Sad because it would be a good product if they did not use the cheapest Halloween prop grade styrene plastic!!! Got to keep those stock market profits up!!! I am going to have to gut my entire bathroom to install another brand. What a waste of time and Money!!!!

Two Stars
The toilet fails to evacuate the bowl completely, often requiring five or more flushes to do so!

Good Product
The quality is good and the system is great! Somehow the toilet tank got chipped/broke during shipment. I was able to super glue it back together and luckily the crack left was above the water line and out of sight when installed. The delivery time was slow. the instructions are great, the hardware was all supplied and quality except for a couple of the stainless straps were too small and had to buy more and the toilet tank to bowl hardware is plastic were I am used to seeing and using metal. All the seals, bushings, and gaskets are of good rubber quality. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a toilet below grade or on concrete slabs.

:(
I have had a lot of problems with this, otherwise it's great when it's working, lately we flushed and the toilet wouldn't stop pumping and they have to send a new one and its only a year old.

Worked well, but now runs continually
We had ours for three years and it worked pretty well. Now the pump wants to run continuously, so we had to unplug it. The original Lowe's installer came to check it out, but couldn't fix the problem. Water passes through the system, there are no clogs or blockages. Again, it ran for three years, but now we can't stop it running without unplugging it. The manual (online) wasn't much help, just said to unplug, replug and then flush. Several times. No change. Have written to Thetford and awaiting reply.Sept. 6, 2017 - Just wanted to follow up on my review of August 22. I contacted Thetford and had very quick responses. Although my unit was slightly past the three-year warranty date, Laura in customer service offered to speak with her supervisor to see about a replacement. The good news is that Thetford has just sent me a replacement unit, at no cost. There is no bad news with this, although Lowe's will need to do a re-installation, and that is not covered by their one-year installation warranty. Still, I am very pleased with the customer service and advocacy of Thetford regarding this Upflush unit! Congratulations on another pleased customer!

Works like it should
I bought this over a year ago and finally got it installed in the basement bathroom. It works like it should and it save me a lot of money getting this rather than a $3000 for the digging up the concrete and installing a pump in the foundation by a professional plumber.
