I ordered these to prune my mint plants which I have many. These felt great in my hand and didn't take a lot of effort to operate them. They cut right through the stems! Even after a long period of using them, they didn't hurt my hands!

Metal broke aften minimal use - they are not strong at all, I could break them with my bare hands and I am not a bodybuilderIt was not even a spring or bolt, the neck between one of the handle and the cutting blade basically broke in half

Good Hand Pruners
These pruning shears are a good quality tool at a good price. Better than what I was finding at the big box stores and at a better price. So far, I am very happy with my purchase. Just got them this Spring.

There are better products out there!
Fiskars shears are better! These shears wore out quickly and not functional for a long time.

I would get them again
For the money very good although the material used for dipping the handles is not real quality - it is very grabby to your naked hand so wear gloves. They cut great though and I would buy them again

After two pairs of Craftsman shears that failed after a year or two (blades that gapped open at joint and did not cut cleanly; handle covers that slipped off; blade locks that failed....) I have found a pair of pruning shears that are working well to date (1st half of 2016).
