Sally HansenMiracle Gel Nail Polish Lacquer, Birthday Suit, 1.0 Fl. Oz., Value Pack

I bought this for a friend for Christmas expecting it to be “2” nail polishes for first and second coats in the original packaging like the picture, but it was just the one nail polish in a taped up box. Not worth it. Too deceitful.

Product stayed on without chipping for a few minutes- not typical of store bought

I have tried literally every product SH makes for problem thin and peeling nails and all with only limited success. I tried this stuff just to try it and it performs beyond any expectation I could have had!! My nails are now strong and long and don't peel or chip as long as I keep this type of polish on them. It only lasts me a few days without touch up but I have my hands in soap and water a lot and doing all kinds of things that really tests nail polish in my daily life. I have purchased other colors and cannot recommend this polish highly enough if you have soft or peeling nails. Hint for removal, it comes off easily if you put some remover on a cotton ball and either use a small bit of aluminum foil or purchase the clip caps to hold the cottonball on, it literally lifts off. Really LOVE this polish type ( this color blends to natural if you are fair skinned, a slight bit more beige than pink in color.

The other reviews saying you need more than two coats of color were correct - after 2 coats I still had very visible lines . Even a third coat could be better with a fourth one on top. Could be the brush, which is wide and with square corners. The top coat is a bit gooey, as per the other reviews. But it did dry after 5-10 minutes. I see 2 -3 bubbles overall, but nothing too noticeable. I use Essie normally and it lasts for 2 days - I work in programming , so maybe all the typing is causing this. So let's see what this other brand does for me. If it lasts for more than 7 days then I will keep the 4 stars rating.

I bought the Birthday Suit pack with the top coat included and I really like it. The Birthday Suit was much more of a nude color than I normally go for but once I had it on, I really liked it. I painted my nails Sunday night and I didn't see any chips until Wed night. Since this is three more days than I would get with normal polish I was very happy. I usually want to take off my polish after about 3 or 4 days so is fine with me. I do a lot of typing and work with my hands fur my job and I was impressed with how well the polish held up!

I failed horribly the first 3 times I painted my nails with this Miracle Gel, I didn't leave enough time in between coats and when I was done, I kept smearing them randomly. I was very frustrated. But then I painted them once my kid was in bed and allowed them to dry in the natural light of a lamp that I have (just a ceiling fan lamp) and allowed 5 mins between each coat... I am now on day 2 with no chips yet... and it only took me about 30 mins (including paint time) for my nails. I also did my toes too.Will come back and edit the review in a week.

Love this the Birthday Suit color very light and one coat is enough for my nails. I find buffering my nails before using the polish makes it stay on better as I read a lot of people on other sites an this site as well mention this polish peels badly. It had been on my nails six days now so far no sign of chipping and by letting the polish dry thoroughly between coats including the top coat it takes a good 20 to 30 min. I am normally an OPI and Essie lover but I still try new things and good to see Sally Hansen is bringing some great colors and the idea of a gel without that heat lamp is definitely a plus! I would recommend this to least try it.

I find that it's goopy and hard to apply, and with my short nails it made a mess. Once I showered the messy bits washed off and now it looks nice! It is so shiny and it's been on for 3 days with no chipping except for one nail. The one nail I put too much polish on and the whole thing peeled of in one piece similar to a gel. This is a long wear polish just be ready for it to take a while for it to dry.

Like the concept and the varnish did last a couple of days+. However the colour "birthday suit" is very pale and was leaving streaks despite coats/layers and redoing several times. So, not great.

I always doubt these things when I buy them but this time I was pleasantly surprised. Great gel finish and does what it says on the tin, e.g. lasts longer and gives you the salon look! Would recommend.

great product for helping nails grow. Mine tend to get to a certain length then break and are a bit weak. with SH Miracle Gel, my nails are starting to grow a bit better and the tips are a bit stronger. worth having in the dressing table.

Bought for my best friends birthday and she loved it. Sally Hansen gel is stronger than normal nail varnished I have used it for nearly 3 years and never been disappointed with the product. Long lasting and doesn't chip

Lovely colours, however lasts me about a day and then needs a touch up. The only way I can see this lasting more than a day is if you are literally not doing any housework (which is impossible with two little kiddies around in my case) I am using it as described on packaging
