Elk tested
I bought these boots to take to Colorado for a recent elk hunting. They broke in fairly quickly and performed perfectly climbing the mountains in Colorado. We put a bunch of miles on climbing those mountains. I was very impressed with these boots. I typically buy Danner Pronghorn boots and this was my first pair of Irish setters. I definitely like these boots better than the Pronghorns. They were more comfortable than my Pronghorns. My only concern is that I do not believe these boots have Gor Tex. They have some new Ultra Dry system. In Colorado, there was a foot of snow on top the mountains and I had to cross a few small streams and my feet stayed dry. I am not sure how the Ultra Dry system will last as the boots age but so far so good. Also I wanted to provide a tip, I only payed $104.75 for these boots. If you have time, create a list in Amazon and put these boots in there and track the price. I would add a comment in my list and list the price changes. The price for many of the Amazon items fluctuate daily. I do this for about all of my hunting stuff and have gotten some pretty good deals by doing it.

Warm Toes!!!
I like em, they keep my feet warm and dry. I bought them because of the low heel, the lug sole, and the good reviews I found for them. The fit is nice and roomy, and with my favorite Made in USA wool socks I'm toasty warm. Some blemishes in the leather, the sole on my left boot is put on off centerline but can't tell when walking, so maybe I'm a bit off myself idk? haha.Overall, you won't be sorry with these, I'm very happy I bought them. Just wish they would have the Made in U.S.A. label inside them instead of China. That's the only depressing part about them so far.Have a great day, and Merry Christmas!Z

Excellent Boot
Excellent boot, but ordered 10.5 EE my normal size but was too snug to feel comfortable in, so I had returned and exchanged for size 11 EE. Boot is well made, lightweight and I like the fact you can resole the boot if necessary down the road after years of wear.

Run small in size
Seem to be very well constructed, haven't worn them out yet in the woods. They do feel very comfortable and don't think they are going to take much break in time. I had to return first pair due to they run small in size, I wear a size 8 and had to order a full size bigger to fit properly. All and all I believe they are going to be what I was looking for!

Try them on before you commit to keeping them.
I have ripped the boot strap on the left boot trying to get them on. This is the 7th pair Of these I have purchased and this one seems to have less tongue movement than previous pairs so getting the boots on is difficult. Return them for a bigger size If they don’t slide on easily right out of the box because they will not stretch.

Best pair of boots I've ever had
Best pair of boots I've ever had. i didn't even get to break them in because I left for an Elk Hunt the day after I got them. I was nervous about getting sore feet but these are great boots. I hiked 7 - 10 miles a day in them for a week. Awesome boots just not good luck boots....didn't get an elk.
