A favorite
This Raider is without a doubt one of our favorites in the X Wing line up. Great detail, nice larger size. Impressive. Gave it 3 stars on the durability because you have to use a little bit of care handling, but most definitely this is very reasonable given the detail of the model. Very cool rendition of a lesser seen ship in the SW galaxy.

A beautiful model and a real shot in the arm for your Imperial fleet
The Imperial Raider is a beautiful model; sleek, arrowhead-shaped, and ready to handle anything that the other X-Wing factions can throw at it, this beauty dominates the board during Epic Play. For Star Wars fans, it's worth getting purely for the coolness factor alone, as it would make for a great addition to your collection; Imperial X-Wing players will find this a must-purchase, not only for the Raider itself (watching it go through enemy fighter swarms like a knife through butter is immensely satisfying) but also for the TIE Advanced that comes with it, and the associated upgrades. There are some excellent pilot options too. Palpatine, Needa, and Tarkin are all great force multipliers in their own way, albeit costly (Palpatine is practically extortionate to field). This package arrived promptly, was packaged well, and came out of the box in perfect condition. Very happy with this purchase.

Epic X-wing anti-fighter crusier!
The Imperial Raider is in my opinion, one of the most fun epic ships for the X-wing miniatures game to play. This expansion is a large one and comes with the fix for Tie Advanced ships with the Tie Advanced targeting computer as well as the very powerful Emperor Palpatine. You also receive an alternate paint scheme Tie Advanced and everything you need to field the Raider in Epic play.Epic is a great way to play if you wanna field lots of ships and try many different combos. In addition to the Imperial Raider, be sure to pick up the Star Wars X-Wing: Imperial Assault Carrier Expansion Pack Game as it comes with some expansion cards that really beef up the Imperial Raider.unfortunately with the latest FAQ from Fantasy Flight Games Emperor Palpatine works a little differently than what is printed in this set, so be sure to double check their website for the latest rules clarifications in case you plan on playing in tournaments.Pro's-It comes with a lot of solid tournament cards from the Tie Advanced titles to Emperor Palpatine.-Awesome way to play the game if you want to play a large game and try many different combos.Con's-Recent FAQ's have changed the wording on some cards in this expansion.

better than the TIE Interceptor
I have two of these now. For anyone who plays Imperial in Star Wars X-wing Miniatures, this is a must have expansion. I have used the new TIE Advanced upgrades a lot. I placed second in a tournament using three TIE Advanced with Accuracy Corrector and two additional TIE Fighters. I have had success using the Advanced Targeting Computers as well. They are a brutal addition, making the TIE Advanced, in my opinion, better than the TIE Interceptor. I also played in a team epic event with two Raiders and we won that tournament (second place also had two Raiders). Emperor Palpatine is also a great wild card for epic games, although I think he's too costly for standard 100 point games, since he is 8 points. Here is a list of TIE Advanced Pilots:1x Tempest Squadron, 21 points (Pilot skill 2)1x Lieutenant Colzet, 23 points (Pilot skill 3, "At start of the End phase, you may spend a target lock you have on an enemy ship to flip one random facedown Damage card assigned to it faceup.")1x Storm Squadron, 23 points (Pilot skill 4)1x Commander Alozen, 25 points (Pilot skill 5, "At the start of the Combat phase, you may acquire a target lock on an enemy ship at Range 1."1x Zertik Storm, 26 points (Pilot skill 6, "Enemy ships at Range 1 cannot add their range combat bonus when attacking")1x Juno Eclipse, 28 points (Pilot skill 8, "When you reveal your maneuver, you may increase or decrease its speed by 1 (to a minimum of 1.")

Hermosa Nave Imperial
