I watched a you tube video on installing one of these, it was a great help. The package does not come with detailed instructions, you would have to know what to do. It took me about 10 minutes to remove the old one and install this one, works great, just wish I wore those plastic gloves while removing the old one. Have a garbage bag handy to place the old one, it could be covered in oil depending on how full the tank is

Great fit just make sure the arrow points to the center of the tank not the side or end

The gauge seems to work fine to give a rough idea of the tank level. My old circular gauge broke and I needed something. I think it is not 100% accurate since my tank was full to the brim when I installed it, and it did not read full. I'll see how it goes when the tank empties (I check it with a wood dowel dipstick to verify).

Seems to be fairly well made .. BUT .. cannot be adjusted at all. Your tank level has to exactly match this or it won't be accurate.

I don't need a fuel gauge. But for my wife, it was the end of humanity.This fits one of your unused bung holes. It couldn't be simpler. Unscrew the plug that's there, screw this in place with the arrow facing away from the nearest end.It's marginally accurate. Good enough to remind you to order fuel.

Such a simple idea - just screw the gauge into the extra bung hole on the tank. Perfectly sized for a 270-gal oil tank.Best of all, the float is not made out of cork. It's a solidly made tough plastic float.
