Blanco 515301 Stainless Steel Sink Grid (Stellar Super Single Bowl) Accessory, Small

I studied reviews of sinks, talked to people, asked at kitchen and bath stores and did everything I could to pick a good sink. After a sink mounted under your beautiful slab of quartzite, it's too late for regrets, so I wanted a really god one. I finally chose the Blanco sink with the Blanco grid insert and I appreciate it every time I use it. It has noise absorbing padding underneath, the stainless responds very well to cleaning and it looks wonderful from all sides in our open-concept kitchen. If I had it to do over again, I'd pick the same sink, same size. I highly recommend it.

I am super happy with this sink grate. I purchased it to use in an Americast sink that was discontinued along with it’s matching sink grate. This one is true to the stated measurements and is built like a tank. It is way better than the original, which had much more flex and was made of common steel covered in a rubberized coating. The coating wore off by the feet and on top near the center of the grate. The old one rusted where the coating wore off and stained the bottom of the sink. This one is made of heavy gauge stainless steel that looks like it will last my lifetime. Highly recommended.

Completely defective. What a shame. I have always loved Blanco for their quality but this sink is a mess. The sides are rough with a film but n them that doesn’t come off with a soft towel. There are ripples in the bottom of the right sink thank look like someone took a hammer to the bottom. And the drain opening is already pitted and unfinished in places. My counter guys have been waiting for 2 weeks for this sink in finish cutting my marble and now I’ll have to order and go without a kitchen sink for another 2 weeks. So frustrating. This sink at amazon is $50 less than home improvement stores and now I’m wondering if that’s why.

I have never had a sink grid before, but I bought this one when we remodeled our kitchen and got a new stainless steel sink. Fits perfectly, and while I bought it to protect our new sink, it adds functionality I hadn't thought about. It's a sink strainer, and a dish drainer too. Absolutely love it! Very well made. I expect it will last as long as the sink.

Very nice product but there are quirks with the manufacturers recommendations and how this product is described. I give five stars for the product, but the directions and packaging are weak, maybe this is due to the distributor/fulfillment center.The hole is a bit off center (high) for the drain, but functional. The directions in the package are different then the directions by the manufacturer about using within a dishwasher. Also according to the directions in the box, it appears that no Chlorine or Chlorine based cleansers should come into contact with the product.The package arrived with one of the feet protruding through the box, but there does not appear to be any damage to the rack.

We purchased this sink because of the size, but also because the rounded interior corners should make it easier to clean than many of the sinks we saw. A lot of other sinks have sharp corners that look hard to clean. Since it has just been installed, I cannot comment yet on how it is in daily use. It looks well made and of a thick enough gauge to not easily dent or deform.

4.75 stars! It is just as advertised, a lovely, roomy sink that fits in a 30 inch base cabinet. Easy to clean! Solid, not noisy or tinny.It gets less than 5 stars because it is almost too deep for a long session working in it (I am 65 inches tall) and, being stainless steel, it is getting scratches from washing pots (as all SS sinks will). Also, it does not come with a strainer, like a Ruvati does -- but Ruvati doesn't make this size. Great price here on Amazon, too. This is the largest offset drain sink that can be had for a 30" cabinet.Edited to add after 3 years use: Still very pleased with the sink. Scratching doesn't seem to have become an eyesore -- yes there is some, but you should have seen the stainless steel sink it replaced! Anyone who imagines that a stainless steel sink (or any other appliance) will remain unblemished with use is doing just that -- using their imagination. It was installed with a harness instead of clips, very secure.

Be aware that if you want a great fit, rather than just a protector -- this product won't meet your standards. I contacted Blanco and they said this is they way they made it on purpose.The grid is about 1" deep at the outer edge but 2" deep at the center from the bottom of the sink. Diminishing the overall depth of the sink more than expected with other brand name sinks (e.g., Franko). It is about 1/2-3/4" narrower than the sink around the edge (as expected); however if pulled completely to the front edge, the back drain hole in the grid does not match up with the sink drain hole. If the grid is centered the grid hole is a definite no match (e.g., pouring water down it).Disappointed in the dimensions of this product. It diminishes the sink rather than enhances.I'll keep the grid despite the cost (more than a third of the cost of the sink) because the sink is easily scratched with heavier cookware such as caphalon. Just setting my le creuset french oven cookware on the bottom left a significant mark, and thus why I ordered the grid. Plus the cost of sending it back isn't worth the trouble due to oversize box requirement.

I love the size of this sink. It is nice and deep, so you can't see the dishes etc. when they are stacked inside! I can fit all my frying pans, cookie sheets etc. inside, which is so much better than my last double sink. The only thing I don't like is that the bottom of the sink scratched very quickly. I need to buy the grid, but Amazon didn't have the right size to go in this sink, and it is so expensive to order it from Blanco.
