BestMessage Massage Chair

There are a couple small things about this chair that I would like to be different, but giving any rating below 5 stars would be injustice. I bought this chair on a gamble, because I was not able to try it first to be sure, but buying one from a retail store would have been 2-4 times more expensive. I’m really impressed with how far massage chairs have come since the last time I tried on walking through the mall. This chair has such amazing preset programs. I am really really impressed by the variety of massage techniques that it uses. In the past I have found massage chairs to be quite repetitive in their programs, but this chair varies it’s patterns throughout the program. It varies the width of the rollers, the force that they are applied, and the level of vibration or kneading on a constant basis. It also varies the order the air bags are inflated and the intensity of pressure they apply. I have fibromyalgia so buying this chair wasn’t just a fun purchase, it was an investment in my health. The biggest weakness the chair has is that you can’t do much as far as individually selecting what parts of the chair you want to be active. For example, you can’t turn off the foot rollers or you can’t tell it just to do your arms a legs and nothing else. Sometimes it would be nice to pick a body part and have the chair focus on only that. The other weakness is that the chair has no memory. Every time you turn it on, it has to rescan your body and then you have to resetup your preference for incline and heat and such. This seems like a problem the manufacturer could remedy relatively easily. Ultimately I would have liked to have gotten a chair that had arm and leg rollers instead of only air bags for those body parts, but I am not sure if such a chair exists and if it does, I am sure it would be prohibitively expensive. The air bags do a better job than I would have thought for their part of the massage however...they really do provide a lot of pressure in a variety of ways. I would say that they are only slightly less effective than what rollers would be. Overall, I made a great decision in making this purchase. I feel better physically and I never seem to get tired of sitting in the chair. If everyone had one there would be a lot less anger in the world.

I write reviews for most of my Amazon products and this was a difficult one to write. This was quite an investment for something to buy online but we went ahead and did it. We purchase the 3 or 5 year extended warranty just in case and I'm glad we did.The chair arrives by a freight truck on a big pallet and will get delivered to your front door. From there, as expected, you are on your own. Be prepared to lift/move some serious weight.When we unpacked the chair the next day, we discovered it was a different color (tan and black) from what we ordered (all black). This was a HUGE disappointment because it's a very big piece of furniture and you want it to match in some way what you already have (the box was labeled black as well). It took over two weeks of emails and calls and Amazon's involvement to get the seller to respond. In the end they did, and they offered a small credit for the trouble.It took 3 men to be able to pick up the chair just a bit to get it over 3 steps and into the house. Check your door openings to make sure it fits through, ours barely did.At home my husband and I use the chair. My father, a healthy 80yo, found the pressure to be too much and too uncomfortable to bear.Pro's:-it massages the whole body pretty well- it goes all the way back to zero gravity- easy to clean (wipe down with damp cloth)- the rollers on the bottom of the chair assist with moving it around, but it's very heavy for a small person like me (5'1") to do it alone.- the heating feature is a nice but only does the middle to lower back- the rollers reach all the way down to your glutesCon's:- customer support was very slow to respond- the remote control is not backlit, so if you want to relax and get a massage in low light or the dark, you need to have a light on to see the remote and make your choices- the bluetooth feature is only accessible from the remote, after the chair has scanned your body, so you end up trying to hook up the bluetooth while the rollers are going, which is hard to do, especially if your hands are engaged in the arm rests.- the footrest moves up and down but there is no way to block in in place if you need to move the chair. This was a pain in the butt when we had to lift it up and bring it up three stairs. It's very heavy and always goes back down with no way of securing it.- if you are short like me 5'1" the stretch massage doesn't make a difference at all. I also have to be constantly re-adjusting the rollers to a narrower width. That's ok, but it would be nice to have a customized setting for each person that you can save.- occasionally the rollers make get stuck, but once they get to the top, they snap into place again.Other than that, I think that next time we decide to buy a chair like this again, we will do it at a LOCAL STORE where we can try it out, and they can deliver it right into the house room we want it in, or return it if the wrong color arrives.

This chair was a Father's Day gift. This is a long review. I highly recommend getting this chair. You will need help getting the box inside. The delivery service was a lift gate and dropped at the front steps on a small pallet. Cut the 2 straps on the pallet. Leave the 2 straps around the box until you get it inside.The chair arrived sooner than expected. Packaged on a pallet and delivered undamaged. Assembly was easy with no tools required. Had no problem setting up and using the chair.The full body massage scans your body and adjusts the rollers and airbags for your comfort. The timer counts down from 20 min and then automatically shuts off and resets the chair.You can control manually and hit target areas. I am amazed at how at 6'2 215lbs this chair fit me perfectly.The zero gravity extends upward and places less strain on your vertebrae. The comfort of the seat is plush and fits your body like a glove with the 42 airbags.Your hands fit inside the chair with airbags and squeeze the hands at different times.I recommend on getting the 3 yr warranty this chair will get more use than I planned. 3 times a day everyday. I feel so much more relaxed and my lower back does not hurt anymore.The heat feature is perfect for sore back muscles.The foot rollers and airbags are placed perfectly for comfort and relaxation. Every muscle in the leg gets squeezed by multiple airbags and the rollers are soothing.The remote control has multiple features to set up your custom massageInside the left arm is quick button features for power and programmed massages.The look and style of the chair is second to none.I will update this review later on.
