Best guitar I've ever owned.
I've been playing guitars and pianos since about 10, always loved music. I started with a $100 Walmart guitar and moved up to a $800 Martin acoustic/electric. I used to own a Fender electric as well as a BC Rich Warlock. This guitar is fan-freakin-tastic. I own a business which colors are white and blue so the body is too perfect. I agree with another reviewer who said something along the lines of "the pictures don't do it justice". It is a beautiful guitar. I'd say it's like 'tiger's eye' or marble midnight blue finish, smooth rosewood fret board (which is what lead me to this guitar in the first place), and a solid neck with well-installed tighteners.I've played this guitar for a few weeks now, tried all the knobs and 3-way switch, and the only thing I would want is a whammy bar, which I can modify of course. Still, for the price, you CANNOT beat this guitar, it seriously carries the look, feel and play of a $1,000 guitar.I would not recommend an item like this so highly unless it were worth it. I had never heard of Revv before, but now I hold them in high esteem. Thanks for reading!

Rockin the birthday gift!
I received this for my birthday. I am pretty much a novice player. I took one class in college and am trying to relearn. My husband is the expert. Both he and I agree this guitar is awesome. It is really beautiful to look at too, practically a piece of art. It's strings are really easy to push down. I don't know what this is called exactly, but my acoustic's strings are much higher off of the neck while these lie very close to the neck and are easy to depress. It sounds amazing. I am already learning some Sting on it and my husband jammed out on it with some great blues rhythms. I am highly impressed by it and my husband who is not easily impressed (and normally rocks out on his own amazing Jag) is impressed too. Great guitar Reville! Thanks! Happy Birthday to me!

Feels and Plays Like a $300 Guitar
I purchased a green burst RPM100 starter pack for my son a few months ago and was so impressed with the quality for the price that I decided to take the plunge and try out an MV-X Maverick for myself. I purchased the flamed blue burst and the photo just does not do this guitar justice – it is absolutely gorgeous! As a reference, I’ve played guitar for 25 years. I’ve owned a Gibson Les Paul, Fenders, mid-range ESPs, a Jackson, and several others. For comparison, right now I have a Gibson SG Standard, Agile 3000 (a mid-range LP style guitar), Jackson DK2, and a few others.I sold my Gibson Les Paul about 10 years ago when money was tight and about 4 years ago purchased an Agile 3000 because I love LPs but did not want to spend 3 grand on another one. I have been very happy with the Agile after switching out a few parts. I have wanted to add another LP style to my collection so that I can have it in drop D or another tuning all the time. Since the RPM100 was pretty impressive for the price, I thought I’d try one of these.Overall, I am cannot be happier with this guitar for only paying $175. Honestly, it plays like a $300-$400 guitar and I would definitely put it up against any Epiphone Les Paul.Pros:-Incredible Sustain from Set Neck and Basswood Body-Beautiful finish – not one flaw-Tuners are very precise-Stock pickups are pretty good compared to others in this price range-WeightCons:-Switch was a bit loose but I tightened it up-Binding around body has a few mistakes but only noticeable if you’re looking very closelyI mostly play this guitar through my Marshall DSL100 half stack and it sounds amazing. Compared to the Agile, the REVV has a more meaty low end to it which I really love. It sounds fantastic for rhythm riffs in rock and metal, especially drop tunings. On clean or light crunch it sounds good for blues. The highs are pretty good and the maple top definitely helps bring these out, but I found I had to increase the treble on my amp if I wanted it to sound like the Agile. I like to use a boost pedal for leads and it does the trick. The stock pickups are pretty good but I may eventually switch them out. I replaced the bridge pickup in my Agile with a Dimarzio Super Distortion so I may try some Seymour Duncans in this one. I can get all the harmonics I’m looking for with the stock pickups though. I set up this guitar with pretty low action, so I do have some fret buzz (as I have on all of my guitars), but none of it comes through the amp.The weight is also a big pro for me as I’m not as young as I used to be. So far I haven’t broken any strings (I did replace them with heavier gauge D’Addarios) which has been an issue with the Agile. As far as other things to say about this guitar, overall I really like it and have spent most of my playing time on it over the past few months. If you’re on the fence I say go for it. For $175, it offers great quality and plays great. Not to mention it looks amazing!

Awesome guitar at great price
This Reville MV - II Maverick guitar is one worthy guitar . It's made extremely well and the tones you get are way more then I could've asked for . Well worth the price . I love it . Didn't even need setup . Right out of box tuned it and perfect action . No fret buzz anywhere on this neck .
