Great Option To Get Rid Of Dog Waste
These have been very helpful for us and we have ordered multiple times. I shared some pictures since the first time I ordered these I was a bit unsure and did not know what to expect. I admit that I have not ever posted such unique pictures, but they help to show what the individual bags look like. The first picture shows the perforated edge. To date, we have not ripped apart any bags and that is saying something since my 10 year old often tears the bags for me. I found the trick is to pull the attached bag further out than you might be used to doing. I stuff that bag back into the bone shaped holder. This allows me to easily tear off the bag I need to use. These bags are a bit smaller than the typical plastic poop bags but not to the point of them being useless. They are about 8" wide by 9.5" long. The picture with the bag over my hand and wrist shows the bag as opaque. The thickness is fine for me and I've not had any issues with the bag "melting". That said, if I was on a longer walk, I'd be more comfortable having a small paper bag with me for confidence that nothing could leak before I got to a toilet. The picture on the toilet lid is an actual bag filled from my 60lb dog's duty (I know, gross). It gives an idea of the volume the bag can handle. I did not tie the bag, simply twisted the top. I was close to home, so it was not an issue to twist it and hold it by the twisted "stem". The instructions recommend flushing an open bag, so do not tie it. Flushing has been easy and I've had no problems. One time I accidentally flushed both my larger dogs "business" at the same time and the toilet appeared to be stopped up. I let it sit for a little while, squirt a little bit of dish soap into the water, and it naturally cleared itself. I did not even need a plunger. Sometimes I let the bags sit in the toilet before flushing and other times I flush right away. Thankfully these work for me. They are more expensive but the ease, convenience, and knowledge that it is better for all makes it worth it.

Smaller and harder to use than expected
These bags are very thick and probably very good for a small dog.I knew the measurements when I ordered them but was unsure how that translated into poop size. These are smaller and will only tie if the result is fairly small. I’ve resorted to carrying and throwing away without tying. The biggest problem is they do not separate well. I generally can only pull out several bags worth and then pull as hard as I can. If only one bag length is out sometimes it won’t separate at all. Then one will release, but not necessarily the end one. A line would help and better perforations.I am having a difficult time finding bags that are good for the environment. I also am having much more difficulty believing Amazon reviews. They really need to fix the system.

I would recommend
I used these bags for the first time this weekend. The dog poop in our garage trash can was stinking up our garage, so we decided to try these flushable bags. The bags were pretty durable and thick. After walking our dog, I put the bag in our toilet. The bag does not dissolve right away. We did not want to mess up our plumbing system, so we waited for the bag to dissolve first. The bag dissolved in about 10 to 15 minutes, then we flushed it. You will need to make sure the bag does not get wet while walking your dog. Definitely saves the odor from our garage.

Dissolves in hot water
Edited to say that they WILL dissolve... in hot water. I tried adding a teakettle full of hot water to the toilet bows and the bag immediately dissolved into small pieces which I was perfectly comfortable flushing. Changed from one star to two because I still think they are overpriced (after finding similar bags much cheaper online) and it's a hassle to heat up water every time I want to flush my dog's poop.(Original review) As poop bags go, these are fine. Sturdy, decent size (we have a 65-lb dog, and they were perfectly adequate since they don't need to be knotted), and easier to open than the cheap bags we originally bought. The reason I'm giving one star is that they do NOT dissolve as claimed. Not in 15 minutes, not in 2 hours. The bag got sort of stretchy and fibrous after sitting in the toilet bowl for a while, but it was very much still an intact bag, and I'm afraid that flushing very many of these down the toilet would seriously clog the pipes. I try to be eco-conscious and I was perfectly willing to pay the cost per bag if they had performed as advertised, but they absolutely did not. Don't waste your money.

flushable dog poop bags
They flush well, but I left it in the toilet before flushing for a minute to help dissolve the bag. The bags are thick and a little sticky so I take one or two out and open them up before heading out for the walk. I had to handle the bags carefully as they are fragile. If you are going far, I suggest dropping the flushable bag in another bag as it starts dissolving when used. We used these when staying at a relatives house and had to take our trash with us because we would not be there on trash pick up day. I only use them in this situation.

Durable
The bags are thick and flushable. However they could be a little longer.

Not as good as Flush Puppies but ...
Not my favorite but get the job done. Feel kind of rigid? Not sure that’s the right description but very thick. No problems flushing.
