Native to east Asia, this flowering plant is known as Coralberry or Japanese holly. It has dark green, glossy, evergreen foliage and small white or reddish, fragrant clusters of flowers. Blossoms are followed by a showy display of bright red berries in great clusters. A popular ornamental, originally from China, Japan, Taiwan & Vietnam.' Also, a wonderful bonsai specimen.
