Great
Amazing fishing line. I use it in NJ for striped bass and handles them with out any problems. Didnt get any wind not's or any magical line break. The real test will come on big blue fish gators and 40-50lbs bass which I catch quiet few a yr.

Very slick line, strong, casts far, not good in wind.
If you are switching from mono, you will think this is a gift from God. If you are switching from Fireline, not so much. The positive: Very strong, casts well, the line is very slick. The negative: No body to it, its limp like thread, which is fine until there is wind, then you have constant rod wraps and tangles on the lures. Also, when under the load of a good sized fish, if they jump out of the water, the line will wrap around the rod tip, making it impossible to reel in the fish without first untangling it. Fireline is much stiffer and does not do that. I do fish a lot and in some very severe weather, so this may not apply to everyone.Use knots for braid, nothing else will hold with it, same for Fireline, and wrap the reel in Super 33 tape before stringing. The reason I tried it out, is when using Fireline, my rod tip guides were being worn thru or int enough that it would wear the line quickly. I had hoped that the slicker line wouldn't do that. And, I'm not talking about cheap rods, $200 to $400 range, Just Ordered some Fireline ultra 8, will see what that does, will update.

Smooth casting and very strong.
Using it on a Penn Battle 6000. Use it mostly to cast and retrieve/troll for flounder in waters that have some oyster shells. Looooooong casts with a relatively light sinker on a one-hook flounder rig. Very satisfied. Recommend it.

One of the best braided lines ever used
One of the best braided lines ever used. Casts off the reel very smooth and can get a further cast with this line. Would rate it A1

Best line on the market!
As described and arrived on time. If you use braided line you should give Fins a try. It is the best braided line that I have ever used!

Finally made the switch to braid.... Never will go back
I finished with mono a whole life and finally decided to give braid shot. Takes a few cast to get accuracy back in due to zero stretch but once I got it down this line was great. The sensitivity is unreal and it honestly does cast farther than mono. I don't know about how much farther percentage wise all I know is you can really sling a 1/4 head with this stuff. I fish with multiple Waterloo ultamags that have stainless recon guides which make it noisy but doesn't bother me at all. As far as durability I can't have a honest opinion given the limited times I've used it but after looking at all of the line that has touched the saltwater zero frays so far. I'm a fan of this line but my only complaint is the loss in color after about 4-5 fishing trips. When I put it on the reel it was a forest green now I'm guessing it has lost roughly half of its color. That's not a deal breaker for me hints the rating I gave.

Not the right product for me
First off, most of my fishing is inshore (flounder, reds, specks) and I throw a fair amount of artificial but also fish live bait. I purchased this line based on combination of good reviews and since I wanted new line to try (had a couple reels to spool). Honestly, I am not a fan of this line. I love Fins braid, but I much prefer the Wind Tamer. This XS is flat and fibers separate very easily which makes de-tangling a real chore! Do yourself a favor and just get Fins Wind Tamer. My $0.02
