Awesome tuners!
I am bad at stringing guitars but I am not terrible at it. I simply play like a coked-out monkey banging strings and pretending to be Dimebag Darrel. It took 20 minutes to install these and about 30 seconds to discover just how much this helped to hold a tune. The screw holes were a very very close fit so I needed to screw in the provided screws before mounting to widen the holes a tad. You will need a very skinny Phillips head screwdriver or you may hit the locking dial or strip the screws. I will absolutely install these on all of my electric geeetars. Pay attention to the location of the screw holes on your guitar. They have several options for different style headstocks.

These are my first choice for inexpensive locking tuners
I have used these on a number of guitars. All of these guitars were manufactured in Asia (Indonesia, Korea, Vietnam, and China). For each, it was drop-in installation. It literally would've taken longer to wrestle with the old tuners when restringing than to install these. For some of my "better" guitars, I would choose other models. Fender, graph tech, Grover, PRS, and gotoh all have tuners that appear to have stronger tuning stability. Sometimes, those others are double the price. For the inexpensive guitars, I like locking tuners for the ease of changing strings. These give that easily; they have the tuning stability of non-locking ones (good ones...think Grover)

Easy install, great stability, easy string change.
These locking tuners perform great. This is my first time changing tuning machines and these were as easy as I could have hoped for. Slide the bracket and tuning machines into place and tighten them up. No drilling required. They look great, the tuning stability is better than my old ones, and now string changes are much quicker. Win-win-win

A solid tuner that is a simple replacement
These fit easily into my Strat-style (in-line) headstock. They are sturdy and all the mechanisms are well-machined. As long as your holes are 10mm they will work. I used staggered tuners because my headstock was straight. Looks good and works great!

It didn't fit my guitar...
Tried to install on a ESP LTD Arrow 1000. I didn't have enough threads to get the nut started... it's just a little bit too short ~ returned it

Best tuners out there.
These tuners are the best bar none. Easy to install and no drilling required. The rails that come with them lock them in place. Put them on a Kramer reissue. Worked perfectly.

To make sure of the size of the tuning holes in the neck.
I liked the ease of installation and the quality of the tuners. I purchased them to upgrade an imported guitar and it sure made a big difference. Glad I got them.
