Yes, it's Ip68 rated. I have been swimming with mine. I'm not sure where the other comments suggesting it is not are coming from. I think some people may be referring to the 1st Huawei watch and not the watch 2. The watch 2 is waterproof.

Mine doesn't rotate.... I just tried. I'm not aware of any functionality from that as a standard feature.Update: if what another answer was talking about was the case, my button does rotate, but there is no function from it. So, probably normal.
