My husband had hip surgery with two large incisions. These are like the type the hospital used, but I was unable to find non-woven bandages in any store. The non-woven are so much better than the woven that would stick to the incision and snag on the stitches. I was so grateful to have these.

If you have dogs or large pets I used this for my first aid kit for them. They all get into mischief so it is helps to make your own first aid kit and these pads helped out tons.

The squares were just the right size for covering the surgery site on my foot.

These work ok for absorbing blood and covering wounds, though they were not what we wanted. We wanted open mesh bandages that allowed some air flow and that opened side-to-side into a long bandage that could be wrapped around an arm or leg, for example. These are fairly solid fabric and they fold in quarters, making a big square if unfolded.

I like these with soft after surgery they are excellent for protecting skies. Not rough like was excellent product
