Good buy for the price. Quality product.
Read my review all the way through and I think what I have to say will help you if you purchase this product.First off, a lot of the answers to the questions call it garbage, and some of the reviews talk about not being able to get it to work, poor image quality, etc. I think most of those people probably either expected it to be crystal clear video quality. You're going to pay a lot more for that. Or maybe they didn't understand how to operate it correctly. The instructions are very clear, especially for coming from an Asian manufacturer.I got it for my hotel room, because I travel for my job literally 52 weeks/ year and pretty much live in hotel rooms, and you can't trust everyone 100%. (I've actually caught a housekeeper going through my stuff before, with a different camera I had).Used it the first time today and it did exactly what i expected.Pros: Small enough to conceal relatively easily.Super easy setup and start, super easy to review the footage on your laptop.Last but not least, the price.Cons: I do wish it was a little wider field of vision to cover my entire room, but if I'm careful enough in placing it I can get it to cover the most important area.It does not have battery power, it must be plugged in to a power source to work. To get around that, I went to my local tech/computer supply store and bought a male/ female standard usb cord and a wall plugin for it. I got a 10 ft one in case I needed to plug it in a little farther away from where I wanted to set it to record. Hid it behind a bag in a chair in the corner of the room with just the lens peeking out pointed in the direction I wanted to cover. So the no battery thing isn't really an issue. This isn't really a pro or con, but the micro sd card can be a bit tricky getting it to seat in the slot. You have to use your fingernail or something to be able to push it all the way in the slot. But it's really not that big a problem. All things considered, for the inexpensive price, it's a good buy. Just don't expect it to be able to do something it can't do, use some common sense in setting it up and you'll be happy with it.

RECORDING TIME LIMITED!
this product is actually really good and has lots of potential, I only wish i had an option for us to choose either 720p or 1080p. Also the SD Card(32gb) is being a bit of pain right now,as soon as i insert it in it pushes itself back out, not sure if im using the right one, but i was able to hold it down with some gorilla tape and was able to record a video with pretty good quality, which means the products works as it should, just buttons for both recording and motion detection. please help me resolve this issue and i will give 5 stars!EDIT: You must use a pin like needle to full put the SD card in place, idk why but i did it and now its working great!EDIT: this camera takes 8G of memory per hour, so that limits the recording time. on 32gb 1080p i can only get 1-2hours before it overwrites, on 64gb 1080p it can only go 5 hours before it overwrites i wish i could go longer,or had an option to use 720p atleast. if i could get longer time 5 stars for sure

Cheap.
For the price what can you expect? Overall the product is OK I use this to record, primarily in the motion detection. But the motion detection feature only works in 1 min increments and wont constantly record if gone over that minute. The picture quality is SLIGHTLY blurry. You can definitely still see detail though. The constant play records in increments of 5 mins but if those are played together it syncs great. Worst issue I have with this product is you cant leave it on constantly. If you do you will reach a point were it will just stop recording. And it will have a corrupted file on the sd card. And once you get the first corrupted one it's a pain to resolve the issue. You have to constantly turn it on and off to keep from getting another corrupted file. And at this point I have to restart it once every 5 mins. And even than sometimes it will instantly get a corrupted file and just stop recording. Makes it difficult to record things for 30-40 mins especially when not in the room to reset. All in all I'm very disappointed in that aspect. If you can tolerate that aspect of it this is a decent device. My advice would be to spend a little more and get a little better quality one. Also. If you plan on putting this somewhere hidden? Goodluck. The camera itself is as wide as a penny but length wise it's almost aslong as a pencil. But needs a constant power supply. So hiding it to someone who is familiar with the house is relatively impossible

Its a gimick...
So far I am not impressed... I can't even "... for the price its...." It does come with instructions, that are not too bad... when I used it through the USB port, it does work... OK picture quality... The web cam on my laptop is a thousand times better... It does record to the SD card... You have no controls over anything other than turning it on or off. To set the date for the time stamp, you 1st have to record to the card, then remove the card and edit a text file on the card, then reinstall the card... (I realize that it doesn't have a way to keep the internal clock going, its just a little silly...)I tried to do the motion activation... Didn't work... I'll play with more, and will update this posting...Haven't tried it in the dark or low light... I can assume with the picture quality in full light, that low light and dark are going to be BAD... Will update this when I get a chance to try it...

Got a few things could be better.
Well it tpok days to figure it out. Never could get the time stamp or even save the date and settings in time texts. That is kind of important to have right time date. I might have kept it if bot for that. When they say press they mean quick press unless you shutting it off. I did not like the male usb plug in. That makes it more dificult to aim as you got to have a usb block then a plug in which needs a 120 cord. I would have liked a female usb plug in into the unit as i was intending it to be between windows. I had ordered a usb male to female extension as soon as i saw that. I think you will need one.

Just got it today
Man I wish they could write better manuals for these gadgets, takes more time then needed to figure how to operate some of this stuff. Does work good if I don't record in HD, if in HD mode it freezes and disconnects. It will only work in SD mode and then does still freeze just not as often. Will try a different sd card to see if that makes a difference as no one else is mentioning these issues.Update, turns out it was a problem with my wifi. Fixed that problem and now works like a dream, both sd and hd. Nice video.

ALWAYS CRASHES
Would give a zero star is possible.Camera quality isn't bad but it crashes 9/10 times you use it.I would leave it on motion detection mode for 9hours while i'm away for work and when I come back and try to access my footage, NOTHING! It will say the device/MicroSD car is corrupted. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.Not recommended
