I originally bought my cover to just hide my items in back of my truck from thieving eyes. I did not think a cheap cover would make a water tight seal. But this cover will make a water tight seal on a 2019 F150. I’m not sure if it works on all trucks, but it works on mine.Now if I take a pressure washer and stand and spray some of the corners, a little bit of water will leak into the bed at the edges. But it’s not enough to make me worry that my stuff will be wet. In my experience, I have not had rain water leak into the bed while driving or sitting still.Onto the install, I had no experience putting one of these covers onto a truck before. I would say it probably took my brother and I longer to install than it should have. The instruction are not the best so I opted to use their YouTube video or a video here on Amazon (can’t remember) for a how to install. The hardest part is connecting/sliding the cover into the metal frame connected at the front of the bed. We finally got it slid into the grove only to find out we had the cover upside down. Other than that it’s not hard to install if you follow the how to video.I’m sure if you took the time and got the angles almost perfect the cover would be water tight against anything.Mine has been through about 20,000 miles and the elements and still works as intended. I have had no issues at any speed (including the factory set speed limit) incase anyone is wondering about that.I will say if you do not intend to carry anything like a 4 wheeler or anything that takes the whole bed of the truck and is taller than the cover, I would suggest getting a hard cover that is foldable. This is because it is tedious to roll and unroll the cover multiple times in a day. Other than that, this cover is perfect.

The factory installed one went bad at about the 4 year mark - warped, filled with water and deteriorated. This one is designed the same way. It’s easy to install especially when you are replacing one and know what to do.The panels fit nicely and are very lightweight and easy to flip. It has a buckle feature with straps under the panels so that you can secure it when all panels are up. The exterior buckle isn’t that attractive but it’s necessary. Function better than looks in this case.The drain tubes they provide are a bit flimsy and they only have them for the front. My old one had front and rear. I was able to work them into the existing tubes easily. I was able to use the “old” tube holder for the back since it slid into the new track.It’s not as water tight as I would like which is why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise it’s good. Let’s see if it lasts longer than the original one. At about the same price I hope so.

This took me an hour to install and the result is really good.Price/value is unbeatable and the finished result is better than I expected.You do loose some width across the top of the bed as the mounting rails sit inside the bed rails rather than on top of the bed rails but I expected that as it was important to me for the bed rail stake holes to remain unobstructed and this product meets that expectation.Final verdict - wow, great product, unbeatable price, would recommend and buy again.

Instructions make some assumptions I felt. I am fairly savvy. It took 3 hours I am embarrassed to say to install alone.

Bought this for my 21 F150 with 5.5' bed and it fits. install is simple and it folds easily. Little floppy at higher speeds but that's expected. Worth the money in my opinion.

A nice looking cover, very low profile. It definitely gives that finishing touch to my F-150.The installation was relatively easy. I took my time and enjoyed doing it carefully, so it took about an hour.A couple of notes about fitment, and one dislike I'd like to make note of. First, my truck is equipped with a dealer installed Ford drop in plastic bedliner. The side rails are too long to install without some modification. I ended up removing the two little foam rubber seals from the rear ends of the side rails, as shown in picture #3. They just peel out. With those removed, the side rails fit fine and the tailgate closes without problem. I tried leaving them on and slamming the tailgate, as another reviewer suggested, but it wouldn't latch. The rubber flap across the rear tonneau crossbar actually lays down over this area and it should seal fine.The clamps are flimsy and poorly designed. VERY fiddly to keep them lined up straight and tighten the fasteners at the same time. They should be designed to interlock at the bottom edge, as the clamps on more expensive tonneau kits do. I will be making some small aluminum spacers to fit in the bottom and hold the clamp spacing out, to allow even clamping force with the fasteners.I've driven over 100 kms since installing it on the truck, much of that close to highway speeds. Nothing but a slight rippling/drumming noticed, and no flapping noises. I anticipate good service and longevity from the cover once I get the slight improvements made to the clamps. Would recommend purchasing, but only by folks capable of thinking outside the box for the small fixes.

Installed on my new 2020 F150 SuperCrew with the 6'5" bed and it has already helped when I was bringing some cabinets to the cottage and ran into rain. The only issue, and the thing preventing me from giving a 5-star rating, was the installation instructions - there weren't any. There was a single piece of paper showing how to set the tension but no instructions on how to install it. I'm a mechanic by trade and was able to figure it out easily enough, but for something marketed to the DIY-er I would think including instructions shouldn't be difficult.

Fits a 2020 f-150 with the plastic box liner just fine. I installed it at night and it was easy to do. The instructions aren’t great but if you have assembled ikea furniture you should be able to follow along just fine… I have driven about 500km with it on and it works great. I have the tension set at three and there is very little movement even at high speeds. I expected it to leak slightly but much to my surprise it is fairly water tight. Have been through a couple down pours and checked when I got to my destination and the box was bone dry. My guess is these are Truxedos budget line. It shipped from Truxedos warehouse in Calgary.Overall really happy with this purchase.Update: first winter with this thing. Had a good six inches of snow on it and no issues. It held the weight and was easy to wipe off. This cover is great!

Installation was made easier with ratcheting clamps (3rd hand) to secure the bed rails in the desired position while attaching and tightening up the clamps.For the price I’m surprised at how water tight it is. The odd drop or two gets in towards the front of the box depending on parking inclination, and rain intensity, but overall better than expected.There is some flutter of the tonneau tarp noticed in the rear view mirror at highway speed but that was expected, an not bad enough that I could hear it or detect it otherwise.Would highly recommend watching the price of this cover and similar competitors as it was under $300 CDN at the time I ordered. The price seems to fluctuate often on Amazon for this item, but if you are savvy you can snag a great deal if you know one when you see one!

Yes, I know installation was only a few weeks ago but so far I am very pleased with this purchase. The product arrived as scheduled. All the parts and components were neatly packaged and nothing was missing. The instructions provided were clear and thorough. The install was straight forward (this coming from someone who does not excel when it comes to putting stuff together!) I will provide an update regarding durability in the future.
