I saw a few reviews of the different sizes of this product complaining that the size wasn't as advertised. Mine was, but the dimensions they listed were the exterior, not the interior. Mine (the 20.5" version) has 18.75" x 3.5" of room for my DVD player, which is perfect -- gets it off the lower shelf, where I had it before my baby learned to crawl and became fascinated with all things electronic (or corded).It says it will support 150 lbs...this is particle board with no cross-beam support, so I'm not about to stand on it and bounce up and down to test the theory, but it supports my TV (37", 42 lbs) perfectly well, with no bowing or sagging so far (although it's only been a few days -- if that changes, I'll update this review).Construction is basic particle board with a black laminate, held together with wood pegs and IKEA-style cam locks. The holes for the cam screws, by the way, are lined with metal threads, which seems more secure/strong than just the particle board alone. Why doesn't everyone do that?? The screws themselves are a little on the flimsy side; I chipped pieces out of two of them (out of four total) just tightening the screws. Doesn't seem to affect the stability, though.This is basic, unobtrusive (I have a black TV and an almost-black media cabinet)...it's not pretty, but it fades into the background and gets the job done, which is what I needed.

At first, I was hesitant to buy this stand because of the price. It was about half of what I paid for the main TV stand. I'll just say that I am glad that I bought it. I went on the Prime route and got it fulfilled by Amazon. Better deal that getting the stand from other seller and paying slower shipping.To start, it came fully assembled and just ready to use. I unpacked it, lifted my TV, put this thing under it, and was done. It can't get simpler that that. I placed my satellite receiver under it too. It's perfect for it. The height is more that enough, and there is enough room on the sides to allow airflow.Also, my TV stand is black. This this product is also black, and it blends perfectly with the main unit. It seems like it was part of the main TV stand. Another good thing about this is the built quality. It supports with no problem at all my 32-in TV. It feels like it could easily work on a 50-in. The material they use seems durable with a nice black finish.Overall, a definite 5-star. It met and exceeded MY needs and expectations. What you read on the description is what you get. Some of the reviews sold me on this, and hope this one helps out on the search.

I purchased this OFC Express Monitor stand for a 21.5" monitor. I have two 21.5" monitors (dual monitor set-up), one monitor was already on a 4.25" riser that was built in to my computer desk by the manufacturer. This stand is the exact same height as the built in riser and the width and depth is the exact size for the space that the second monitor went in. Its like the stand and the desk were made by the same company (maybe they were), the color even matches!The stand itself is very well made, its sturdy enough to hold something much heavier than my monitor. I put the stand together in a matter of minutes without even looking at the instructions, it was self explanatory. Also, its made in the USA and you can tell as all of the holes line up, it's quality made. The hardware pack comes with everything you need and when you're done with assembly there are no extra parts. The only tool you need to put this together is a screwdriver. It is very well packed so it can't be damaged during the shipping process, quite frankly, unless the box were bounced down the highway and run over by an 18 wheeler it would be hard to damage the contents. I highly recommend this stand and wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again.

The size was exactly as described. I'm very happy with that. The color (black) was good. The stand is very sturdy and will hold way over a hundred pounds easily. The edges of the stand could have been better sanded or buffed (too sharp) and the paint (or stain) rubbed off the edges (I put the bad side toward the wall). Someone did not place the covers over the bolt holes very well, so that didn't look too good. I did move the covers, but now they are not sticking very well. I did not think the 4 little tabs at the bottom of the stand were good enough to protect my wood cabinet - so I replaced them with better tabs. The stand does serve it's purpose for me. I put my 49' Smart TV on top of the stand and the Comcast Box under the stand. The whole think does look good on my wood cabinet. I do not think the stand was worth $48.50 - more like $30.00 tops. I would not recommend the stand to anyone because of the cost.

I needed something to put my 19" LCD TV on in my bedroom (on top of a dresser.) We have a new DVR, and it has fan/ventilation area on the top, so the TV could not sit directly on top of it. I needed something that would allow the DVR to vent. I wanted something that was not obstructive, reasonably nice looking, and something that did not look like office furniture.I was pleasantly surprised with how great and solid this piece is. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that it was made in the USA, a rarity nowadays. It took my husband all of 5-10 minutes to assemble.One (very)small complaint about the piece is that the material is kinda slippery, so I had to put some Grip-It style shelf liner under the TV, for fear it would easily slide off if accidentally knocked into. Very minor complaint, and it would not have stopped me from purchasing. It looks great.
