Best Cat Collar for Your Money & More Importantly, Safety Wise!
Pros:Stretchy, comfortable, thinner than most cat collars, adjustable, sturdy nametag ring, strong buckle, amazing priceCons: None that I have foundThis is my favorite cat collar by far!! I have feral rescue cats that I care for & indoor/outdoor cats as well. All of them are microchipped when they are spayed/neutered...just so I know what happened if one goes missing. But even though they are chipped, collars are super important!! Animal control can see that a cat is not a stray, is domestic or is being taken care of. This means if there is an injured cat without a chip or a nametage, they will try to find the owners rather than take it to a shelter for just a few days. These collars are super flexible, super stretchy and reflective. People can see that the cats are "owned" and taken care of from a distance as well as if they are in the street, allowing them time to slow down.I can leave these collars on a little tighter than normal collars because they are comfortable, thinner and will stretch...easily slipping off over the cat's head if they are caught on a fence, bush, by another cat, etc. I find that by having a more comfy collar that stretches, I'm able to hold onto collars way longer than the normal nylon ones. We all know how expensive cat collars are!! The longer I can keep them, the better! It's easily adjustable. There are no holes, so you just slip the buckle in between the fibers easily and it stays put. Easy to size big or small cats. (I have an 18lb Snowshoe Siamese and a 5lb runt - so I like being able to buy one collar which fits both). If it's too long, I can cut the end off and burn the end with a lighter so there's no annoying flap hanging out.The nametag ring is strong as well as the buckle which is a must. I always add a nametag only with my name and phone number so I can re-use tags and people will call me saying they've found a collar...so that helps!I don't like normal breakaway collars BECAUSE some of the clips are so tight and not easily releasable, the cat can struggle and get injured while trying to break free. I like that it does not have a bell because I don't want predators to easily hear, locate and stalk my cats. I have coyotes, so I want my kitties to be able to hide and not be heard tinkling with every movement, signaling where they are.I LOVE these collars and never use any other. It's hard to find the stretchy collars nowadays, especially with all the glitter collars and prints/designs you can find...but they aren't as safe or as durable as these stretchy ones. Hope this helps everyone!! :-) Rescue on!! ^..^

Great collar! You should get one.
This is just the collar that I was looking for. It has a real buckle, not a plastic breakaway one and is easily adjustable to any size neck. The material is very good quality and reflects very well in the dark. It's also lightweight, comfortable and is a great price, so I was able to buy more than one to have a spare. My kitten was playing outside in a brush pile and the collar got hung on some small branches. Because the collar is elastic he was able to get out of it with no trouble. I can't recommend this collar enough!

Great for kittens - do not trim
The good: Our kitten is too small for the original collar I bought him, but this one can be made as small as you like, as there are no pre-cut holes for the buckle. It's slightly stretchy fabric, so you stick the pin through it wherever it fits best for your cat. This is really handy for tiny kitten necks. The bad: It will be several inches too long and the little D ring to hold the excess doesn't slide, so if the excess is more than an inch this little ring is pretty much useless and the extra length will bug your cat. So I trimmed it. Big mistake. It frayed almost down to the buckle in two days, one more day and it would've fallen off. I ordered another since it's such a great deal, and kitty will just have to live with the extra length, though another reviewer here suggested using the thinnest, smallest zip tie you can find to fashion a holder for the excess length, I might try that. It also doesn't say super smooth very long, it starts to get fuzzy with wear. Not a big deal, it doesn't affect the function. Overall it's a great collar for the price especially for kittens or small cats, seems very smooth/no rough edges. I'd recommend it.

After several months my cats still have their collars!
Two of my cats routinely hop the fence to hang out in the front yard so I wanted collars for them. Finding a break-away collar that doesn't come apart with the slightest tug is almost impossible, and my cats have managed to lose all of the ones I've tried. Then I found these stretch collars! They are very well constructed and attractive looking. There are no pre-drilled holes for buckling it on; you simply push the pin through the fabric at the point that best fits your cat. Unfortunately, there's no where to tuck the end so it just kind of hangs there. It'd be nice if there was a little loop like on a watch band to hold it flush with the collar.I think my cats have been wearing their collars for about 6 months and there's been only 1 incident: My 1 year old cat somehow managed to get one front leg through the collar while it was still around his neck. Not just a paw, the whole leg!! No idea how or why it happened. He wasn't in any distress, as the collar stretched to accommodate his situation. Meanwhile, my older cat has kept his collar on this whole time; I don't think he even notices it anymore.

Not purrrfect, but okay for my needs
Got this product in the mail on July 22nd-- put it on my cat right awayPros:--Easy to put onto my 14-pound, mainly indoor/patio exploring outdoor tabby cat.--Beautiful bright blue color and very reflective with light.--My cat doesn't seem to mind it, and it hasn't gotten loose or fallen off yetCons:--Like many of the other reviews state, it has already started fraying after just 2 weeks of wear.--Because my cat is inactive and mainly indoor, it seems to fit her fine without falling off, but I feel like it would be less secure on a more active, outdoor cat.Based on price and the inactivity/mainly indoor type of cat I have, I would buy this product again, but it likely won't work for everyone.

Definitivamente volveria a comprar!

Coastal Pet Products Stretchy cat collars
I love these cat collars! If they get caught on something my cat can pull it’s head out of the collar. The snap away non stretchy collars by other manufacturer’s can strangle your cat if the snap away doesn’t work properly. Cats are so inquisitive they are always sticking their heads into places they don’t belong. Lol. The stretchy collars come off in a second. Best collar ever. Plus my cats love to pull them off and play with them. Crazy girls. Thanks Coastal Pet Products for providing these collars to us 🥰

Not ideal
It's a good product, but even the large one isn't quite large enough.
