Q: I’m confused. I thought I was getting a 4 pack from this description, but received 2 single skeins. Is this yarn really lost priced at $12.99 a ball?

Amazon is not your cheapest source for yarn. Red Heart Ombre can be found for $6.44 at Walmart, $8.99 at Joann’s.

Q: Is this yarn a #3 or #4 weight? Or lighter? I ordered two skein, but can’t find that information. Thank you.

It’s a #4 medium weight yarn. Great big box store yarn. It softens after washing. Does get little balls on should be washed in a laundry bag by itself. Usually buy at a better price when on sale.

Q: Is this like a purple color yarn?

No. It's more of a burgundy. As you can see, it is variegated, which means that it changes shades as you knit or crochet, but none of the shades are purple. Go to your nearest yarn shop and see if they have one there. You can get a better idea then. Red Heart does have a purple variegated. It is called "Purple Tones. You can see it online.

Q: Price seems very high for one skein. Is this correct price for just one skein?
