My mother had an older version of this Kitchen Helper and after she died I kept it taped to my cabinet doors and have found myself using it frequently over the years. Recently my sister stayed with me while she recovered from surgery and she is a great cook and while opening my cabinet to find something she saw my Kitchen Helper and told me she was going to take it with her when she left. I let her know THAT was not happening but I did look up and find they still made it and I could get it from Amazon! I bought her one and several more as stocking stuffers for Christmas for friends. I bought for my niece as a house warming gift and she loved it and uses it frequently.

Had a small magnet with this information that apparently left when my old refrigerator did. I have missed it terribly. This is helpful but has many pages that are 'filler' (roasting temps for various vegetables and meats) when other conversions or recipe substitutions might have been more useful. Looks like it is sturdy and cleanable, though, and will stand the test of time.

I got one of these for Christmas a few year's back. I loved it so much that I just bought one for my best friend. This is seriously the coolest, handiest little guide ever. And it's a magnet, and not super expensive. Cannot beat that!

Handy b/c it hangs on the side of my refrig The information that the guide contains is rarely needed mostly b/c I tend to make the same meals over again However, if you happen to need to make conversions or substitutions for a new recipe, it's quick Also the cooking charts and time tables help in planning the time needed to prepare meals

Very handy little tool to have on your fridge. I often try recipes from Europe or other countries that use metric measurements, it's easier to find the conversions on this than looking them up on my phone. I also thought this would make a thoughtful addition to a kitchen gift basket for a new cook.
