It's okay
The socks are made of thick material, and they are very comfy to wear. But they are not what the hype is all about. These are great socks, but no mean they are for extreme winter weather. They pair I received is only able to keep my toe warm, instead of the whole feet. So keep in mind when ordering these, as they could disappoint you if you are looking for something to keep your feet warm. At this point you might be wondering what are these good for then?Let's say you go on a skiing trip and upon your return your feet are icy cold, you turn these on and it will warm up your toes, maybe the heat will warm up your entire feet if you are eating snowboots, but again that's a maybe.Hope this helps

Great value very efficient
I use these for my Dog Walking and I have found that once I fully charge the batteries that they can easily be kept on low with a good boot in the snow for several hours of dry comfort. If my feet are damp to begin with I often set the heat to medium or high for the first 20 minutes or so and they work great to keep my feet warm and dry. My wife has even worn them to bed and she has noticed that she sleeps sounder without waking up. At first I thought that having the battery sleeve on the top might interfere with my pant leg but I hardly even notice the fact that they are there. The sock is well made and you can pull them up fairly high . I usually leave them on medium after I am done my walk and leave them on my bed to dry out as I have sweaty feet. Overall I am very impressed with these

Toasty Toes
I went out scouting over the weekend and my feet have never been warmer. Nice socks, they look and fit great. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is that it only warms the toe area and I find the battery life to be alittle low. 3 hours on high and just over 5 on low, that might be fine for some but I need at least 8. Need to see if I can get extra battery packs.

Very comfy and warm socks.
These socks worked out great. I volunteer at a outdoor haunted attraction in the fall and my feet, my toes in partictular, get so cold. Tried these out and they keep my feet perfectly warm on the high setting. The didn't get too hot like traditional foot warmer have a tendency to do. I think only downside is the need to handwash, which is understandable because of the wiring. Also plan according for the charge time it can take some time but I do like that they are rechargable and you don't have to keep replacing batteries. Overall I'm pleased with these sock.

Total waste of my money!
Hubby has had these socks for over a year now... I bought them for a Christmas present. Hunting season was already over so, he didn't really get a chance to try them until this year ...They did not heat correctly...one didn't heat at all and it's been a year now I'm pretty sure I can't do anything about it!! What a total waste of $50..Very expensive pair of plain socks!

Do not buy
Fully charged the batteries, used as manufacturer instructed and didn't work well whatsoever. Tried them when fishing in a river inside my waders. Couldn't even tell they were heated socks. Thought that might be too tough of a test so I would recharge after each use (batteries seemed to die rather quickly too) and tried them on while just sitting in the hotel watching football. Still couldn't feel 'heat' - not worth $5 much less the $40+ I spent. Go with a much higher end brand or just use the socks made to work with the $1 disposable inserts is my suggestion. I sent these back after a 4 day trial of using, charging, trying again. Just don't perform well at all.

Good so far
I’ve only used them a couple of times but so far so good. They are nice and warm right when you turn them on. They are very tall on my legs (they sit right below my knee) but that would work out for when I wear them with my snowboarding boots.

Great socks for hunting in cold weather
Love the socks. Comfortable and batteries last all day for me in Wisconsin treestand at end of November with subzero temperatures. Only dislike is batteries work themselves out of their pocket when you walk. Wish it had a velcro closure to secure them.
