Purely Essential Fruit & Vegetable Wash, None, 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 6)

This was the first vegetable wash I’ve used; I’ve tried other fruit washes since, but I keep coming back to this brand because I really feel like this does a better job of washing my produce.First of all, it is more concentrated—a little goes a long way. I add a drop in a bowlful of water and soak small produce, or I apply a drop on bigger produce like apples or pears. With other fruit washes, I need a lot more and the results tend to be not as impressive.Secondly, I really see the dirt on the water after I soak my produce. There are sediments at the bottom of the bowl and sometimes, a film of “something” (wax? chemicals?) floating on the water. Also, the fruits and vegetables tend to come out with a brighter color minus the whitish cast on their skin, after a soak. I have found that other fruit washes I’ve tried leave these white film behind.Lastly, after washing with this, my produce tastes like how they should taste. Other washes leave a lemony or citrusy taste on the produce, which is very noticeable on delicate fruits like blueberries or strawberries.Among all the brands I’ve tried, this produce wash is the only one that has impressed me.

I've used this product for years and couldn't get along without it. I pour a small amount of the product into a food-safe sprayer bottle (about 16 oz) and slowly fill with water. That way I can spray the product onto an individual piece of fruit or vegetable. The other day, I went to wash an apple and saw that it had more 'food wax' on it than usual. I sprayed Envirrone onto the apple and using a soft brush gently scrubbed the apple. The wax began clumping together and was completely washed off. This product if fantastic for washing grapes, too!

Sometimes hard to find in most grocery stores as is not always available when I need it. That's why I have started buying it by the 6-pack, so I can plan ahead when I get low. Hopefully, Amazon will always carry this product!

I've bought this for years and it does a great job cleaning my fruits and veggies. But when this last shipment arrived, two of the bottles had leaked because the tops weren't on well enough. Not worth sending back, but hope it doesn't happen again.

I love this stuff! We have tried various produce washes over the years, the one the rhymes with sit, a couple from the Asian markets, and another brand we bought online. Hands down the Purely Essentials works the best of all we have used. 2 capfuls in the in salad spinner washes 2 heads of romaine lettuce, 2 lbs of strawberries, 2lbs of grapes, and 3 apples. (I ran out of produce to test in 1 session). The price per bottle is great. Buy this product, you will not regret it. Besides that it is formulated from natural ingredients not a bunch of chemicals most folks cannot pronounce.

I've been using this product for years. Found it at my local health food store. I went back to get it recently and they didn't have it. I was so happy to not only find it online, but at a big savings. It is all natural and its slightly slick texture is perfect to rub off whatever icks have touched your produce under running water for the required 20 seconds. I pour a few drops in a giant bowl to soak berries and lettuce, then rinse, dry and put away. No taste and each bottle lasts for months.

Been using this for years. 6 pack is a lot and they go a looong way since the formulation is a bit concentrated unlike the watery ones out there but I just shared with friends and family. I replace the cap with a sprayer head salvaged from an old empty product or I make a diluted solution in a new spray bottle.
