WAY smaller in the waist than anticipated!
I ordered by the size measurements but the waistband is ridiculously tight. I could wear it as is, but only for a very short amount of time if I expect to breathe and eat and/or drink. Fortunately, I am handy with a seam ripper and my sewing machine, so I will just replace the too-tight elastic waistband with one that fits. The fabric fits fine around my hips and derriere, so that's no problem. The length hits just above my ankles (I'm 5'7") but that's ok with me. I'm planning on wearing this to a Mardi Gras ball this weekend with a black velvet top - I think it will look great!

Cute but uncomfortably small
I usually wear a size M, got a size L because I heard this runs small, and it’s still uncomfortably tight. I think the size L would probably be perfect for someone who wears around a pants size 4. Otherwise it’s a really pretty skirt so I’m going to try perhaps cutting the top portion of the elastic.
