These are indeed blackout curtains. And the other reviews are correct in that the color is definitely a greige/gray. The linen texture is true which is what I was hoping for. It’s smooth, not rough and with my cats, absolutely no hair has attracted itself to them. I love them. I believe they are worth the money. The only downside is they aren’t washable. Which doesn’t really bother me because the only reason I had to wash my old curtains was because they attracted so much dust and hair. For reference my walls are Benjamin Moore Griege. Also...On one set of my curtains there are some specks of backing missing. It doesn’t bother me so much as annoys me. And you can’t see it one of my photos, several small dots of light penetrating through. I paid $34 for a set of two. I expect them to be perfect. But that’s just me. Also I doubt every set it like that. So don’t let that deter you. Overall the pros make up for it.

I appreciate the curtains, they really block lights, which is super important for us since husband had to sleep during the day due to his work hours.UPDATE:This is around a week or so after we put it on. I started to notice tiny lil' holes, as tiny as needle holes starting to pop up on the curtains in random places. I noticed because light came in through them. The number of needle holes were never there before. I think only today I realized there are a few of them. So I'm disappointed with the longevity of these curtains. I'd have hoped it lasted longer without issues.I'm uploading a couple of pics. These were taken around 5 PM our time, still pretty bright outside. I zoomed at them so the lil' holes can be seen as they are the tiny 'light' in the pics.There are only 10 or so tiny holes cropping up in the curtains but yeah, they were not there until today, and it's only around a week or so since we put them up. I was thinking of purchasing a second pair for the living room but now I'm not going to anymore.

These curtains are thick, heavy, and totally block out light. They also work great as insulation against our old drafty windows and the hot afternoon sun. They come a bit wrinkled but after hanging the wrinkles eventually relax. Initially hung them using rod pocket, but they're so thick they were hard to slide back and forth and stay in position so re-hung them using curtain rings and it's much easier to slide them back and forth. The backing is an ivory white, while most other blackout curtains have black, and I didn't want black facing out from our big picture window.

We just installed these blackout curtains and they definitely are 100% blackout. I personally don’t love the look of that material behind the fabric, but they’re certainly functional for keeping light out. They look cheap when you hang them, but once you steam the wrinkles and folds out, they look much better.

Theses are surprisingly good curtain panels. There are 2 per pack which is an incredible value. I put these on a direct east facing triple wide sliding glass door to the atlantic ocean, ( used 6 panels, or 3 packs) and no sunlight comes through, They cannot be washed or tumbled in dryer, so lightly steam only to remove creases once you hang them. If you plan to put them on a rod, just know they will not slide easily; you can use clip rings though. I used decorative wood rings on a wood rod, and used drapery pins through the eyelet on the wood rings. It looks really nice as the pins are concealed, and no icky clips showing at the top. The linen texture is quite nice, just know the backing is the thermal fabric coating, so no lining at this price. My only concern is how long the thermal/light blocking backing will last day after day with direct sun/heat in FL. But, for the price no complaints.

Great coverage and thickness. Blackout is excellent. Beware, though that they are not quite "white". The faux linen is white, but with the blackout backing, they appear slightly gray. Also the white is a cold, bright write, definitely not a "warm" white. This was not a problem for us though. Of the many blackout curtains we looked at, these were by far the best quality for both look and style. I will be buying more!

These curtains have only been up two days, but so far we really like them. They arrived as wrinkled as you would expect for curtains which were folded into an 8 x 10 package. A good steam ironing on medium heat took care of that. They hang nicely and the room is really dark in the daytime. Our old blackout curtains really blocked the outside lights, these are even better at blocking. They look nice hung and we’re pleased. I don’t see any holes in the backing as some people have said and there are no pinpricks of light showing through. So far, thumbs up.

I’m in love with these curtains. I got them for my child’s bedroom which gets direct morning sunlight and they did not disappoint. They are truly blackout and the texture is gorgeous. The colour is a soft beige/grey. Due to being blackout, the material is fairly thick/stiff so I hung them on rings with clips and it absolutely transformed the curtains. Note that you will need to hem them and steam them to get them to fall nicely but for this price it’s more than worth it. Very happy with my purchase.

Very nice looking drapes, Arrived a bit wrinkled and is not a soft nor velvety or silk type fabric but is more sturdy like burlap which we prefer. Does a great job keeping the cold air out, as well the light when we need them to Nice experience getting exactly what we expected. Happy Customer :)

Ordered these curtains for a client and unfortunately they came with these defects. I contacted amazon and they said to reach out to the seller and then the seller said to exchange them through amazon. The issue is the curtains shouldn’t have come with these defects in the first place, it should be on my dime and time to exchange a defected product.Otherwise these curtains would have been beautiful.

Curtains look great, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from Amazon. They have heft and the material is very nice and a nice shade of grey.If I had the correct ‘blackout’ rod I’m sure they’d be great.The only problem I have is that the blackout material seems to have a bunch of holes in it, so little dots of light come through, which is annoying. I already had them hemmed or I would have requested an exchange.
