Really Comfortable and Flattering
I bought two abbey caps – this one, and a teal, ruffled one. (If you looked at that one, this is the same review.) Both are very soft and comfortable. (When I put on the black one, my son told me I looked like the mother in Jaws… You know, in the 70s when women wore head coverings with a pair of polyester pants or over curlers to the grocery store : -) So, I prefer not to think of myself as bald, but just bringing back a fashion trend. : -)But seriously, I bought several different head coverings in anticipation of my hair falling out (two abbey caps, a ruffle beanie head cover, a turban, a hat, a wig, and a good old fashioned scarf). By far, I’ve gotten the most use out of the abbey caps and the ruffle-beanie (which is similar to the abbey caps). They’re just easy to put on and comfortable to wear. The abbey caps are softer than the ruffle beanie, but the ruffle beanie is cooler if it’s very hot out. They also have a nice shape, which suit my head well. The seller also did a great job getting them to me quickly. So over all, I am very pleased and would buy again. (By the way, if you are new to all this and considering your options, I will tell you as an aside what became of my other purchases: 1) The wig… sitting in my closet; hot, tight , itchy and expensive thing that it is. It’s a very “good” wig, but I still regret buying it. 2) The hat, with a brim is a good option if you need to keep the sun off you, but it’s a still a little hot for it and even though it’s a specialty hat (made with more coverage for hair loss), it’s not as flattering as the abbey caps. 3) The pearl-detailed turban. Was a little large for me, and not as flattering as I had hoped. But it is comfortable. If I had hair to pad it out it might look better, but alas…. And 4) The scarf – also a good choice, but it shifts more and the abbey caps are just easier. Hope this helps. Good luck to you where ever you are on your journey.

Most Practical Hats
I am not someone who likes wearing hats of any kind, but I decided to try these since I need something now that I'm going through chemo and I would not even consider wearing a wig. These are the most comfortable hats, easy to put on, do not slip, really soft, look better than any other alternatives. I have 3 of these hats and all are really good quality. They shipped fast, received them much sooner than expected. The hats are somewhat different depending on the fabric and Amazon does a great job at describing the fabric also (if you go directly on the company's site, they have more hats listed, but they do not specify the fabric). For example, the sweater knit fabric, like the gray or brown, is the thickest of them, warmer hat, more stiff fabric. Any of the ruffles hats are thin, good for warm weather, the ruffles cover the parts that are see-through. The knit fabric, like the black and white paisley print (my favorite), is something in between, very soft, drapes nicely. All of them are soft and comfortable, you cannot go wrong with any of them, just be aware of the fabric so you pick the right hat for the weather.

Covers my purple fauxhawk nicely
I bought this to hide my purple fauxhawk in places where I needed to look a bit more toned down. My review is for a couple of inches of covered hair, but the majority of it will also be relevant for those who are looking to cover their scalp.I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and worn it out and around the house. The cloth is light and sits nicely on the head, and the elastic strap sits right on my occipital bone (mine's low) but doesn't pinch. Since it's untextured black, it accessorizes with anything, and it tucks behind ears without looking silly in case you want to sport earrings. The only downside is that, as with all black cloth, it will catch lint and pet hair. So, get a lint roller!I've also found that it works great at holding earbud headphones in place at night, so for all you light sleepers out there, that's a plus, as well. Finally, it keeps my bangs out of my face when I'm working out, since with my hairstyle bobby pins and clips act a bit strange. I've attached a photo of me with it on. You can see a ripple where my hair is sitting. If I'd brushed it back, the topline would be much smoother like it is on the mannequin. But hey, sometimes a girl's in a hurry!I live in a warm, but not hot, area, and I haven't been sweltering in this when I go outside, but if I were in a place where it regularly gets above 85 degrees F I might worry about getting black.

BUY THIS BEFORE YOUR CHEMO STARTS!
It's super soft and looks lovely (I have the denim color but am ordering others). It's easy and very comfortable. The fact that these are made in the USA and cotton are bonuses. Mostly, these are insanely comfortable. After shaving my head I put this on and thought, yeah, I can deal with this. I wear it straight back, looks like a nice bandana. As you figure out if you are a scarf, hat or wig person, you will want this around to sleep in, toss on to do errands etc. I'm so glad that I stumbled on this (kind of sad that I bought a couple of other chemo hats, because this is really the only one I needed).

Best I’ve found!!!
This is very well made. I have purchased many turbans on amazon and other places. I have no hair right now due to chemotherapy and I’ve had a hard time finding cute quality turbans to wear. Most are I’ll fitted and poor material. This one was a great surprise!!! And they are made here in the USA!!!!

WOW I'm so glad I found this
I'm really surprised that I'm taking it so hard that all my hair is falling out because of chemotherapy. I thought I could handle it better. But, when I found these on Amazon, I thought it would help. Once again, I underestimated just how much I was going to love these caps. They are easy to put on, light and comfortable, even in this heat. I just love these and will probably wear them even when my hair comes back. They are really well made and I plan to buy lots more.
