Easy to use
These tv straps are pretty easy to install. I used them for my tv but you could easily use them on a dresser or book case. They screw into the back of your TV where, in flat screens, there are several holes designed to accommodate a wall mount. Then you can either screw it into your wall (must find a stud) or into the back of your furniture (shown in picture here). It may go without saying but youll need a drill for the wall/furniture and a screwdriver for the back of the tv. This product didn't come with instructions but listed the website to visit. It comes with a bunch of sizes of screws to use that I'm assuming are fairly universal for the holes in your tv. You can cinch the straps pretty tight. Your tv can still be pushed over backwards but at least it won't fall on your kid.

This took a while to attach, the screws that connect the straps to the TV stand kept breaking (cheaply made) and while the TV can't be pulled forward, this does nothing to prevent my daughter from pushing it over backwards.

The corners itself are nice. They would do the job if only they stayed in place. The sticky part is useless. I'll have to get some 3M two sided tape to make them really stick.

We really like the straps
We really like the straps! We have thick brick walls that we can not drill into. Our entertainment center also has a very thin spot of wood (most is that fiber board backing) we can drill into. So we elected to use Command Strips (the heavy duty weight bearing ones) stick them on the wall and then screw the straps onto the TV. I know it isn't as secure as actually screwing it into the wall or entertainment center but we have no other option. I would 5 star it if it had another way to mount it with a screw less mount system. But all together it does what it should.

Useless for TVs, with No Instructions Provided
These straps are completely useless for securing a TV. Only two screws that came with the straps fit the mount points on my TV (a Samsung flat screen), but those screws (1) don't fit through any hole in the strap brackets and (2) are so short that, even if they did fit through the brackets, they would not be able to secure the TV.Also, the instructions are not included, were not sent by email as promised, and do not mention TVs at all. The instructions are a low-quality JPEG image on the manufacturer's website. The customer who wants to use the straps with a TV is left to squint at the image and more or less guess how to use the straps with a TV.In short: these are useless for securing my TV, which is the only reason I bought them. I may try to use them on a dresser or something, but for right now they're sitting in storage.

Easy install, helpful company communications
We have plaster walls which are somewhat tricky so we ended up anchoring our wooden tv stand to the wall and then the TV to the stand itself. Very easy installation and I appreciate the variety of hardware they included and the fact that the straps are adjustable in case we get a different tv down the road. Two other details I liked: the installation instructions were emailed to me via Amazon in a mobile friendly format and the company also sent a manual about childproofing the home in general. I already knew most of the information but I did learn about one additional danger that is in my home (iron pills) and I hadn't recognized.

TV made safer
These work as specified to keep a TV from tipping forward. Use two on a flat screen to avoid a terrible accident. They can attach to the wall or they can attach to the back of the cabinet, which is what I did, since the cabinet is in a corner, and I wanted to be able to turn the TV to access the back. I don't think there are instructions, but it's intuitive. The one hole and the big bolts go into the mounting holes in back of the TV . The other side screws into the cabinet or can be toggled to the wall.
