Left the Gen I magnet
I had a Gen I door switch that wouldn't connect (6 yrs of use) and replaced it with a Gen II. The Gen II magnet is smalled than the Gen I and I had in-laid the Gen I piece so I left it and used the Gen II sensor. Now works well.

these are better than the first generation because the nickel battery is screwed in!

Clean easy instructions received and on time order. Installation to replace a damaged one was a breeze.

Nice device for doors and windows
I bought this to alarm an outdoor shed. Super simple to add to the alarm system. Seems very responsive and notifications are instant. We'll see how long the batteries last but the range is excellent. Seems good quality.
