I don't really know why this volume in particular was so difficult to find for years, but once I saw it was reprinted I snatched it up. The Eyeshield 21 series as a whole is a great example of the sports manga genre, and indeed I doubt that I will bother reading any others, as the characters and art for this series would be difficult to beat.

Another great addition to my series. The last book I needed. I simply love this author. The story was fantastic and something that should definitely be read. I enjoyed this one so much.

Ooh, the end of the Aliens game and the beginning of the training in America. With a beach football game involving the Wild Gunman team (hahah, the Devil Gunmans). Um, running from Houston to Las Vegas in forty days? Sounds like a Death March to me. . . . (And I love everyone's reaction to Sena's secret identity, hee hee HEE!)

This volume finishes the game against the NASA Aliens and details the start of some hardcore training for the Devil Bats. This however is the hardest volume to find as VIZ has refused to make another printing. I lucked out when my gf found it out a garage sale. Great story like always and worth having if you want the full story. Good luck getting your copy =)

Could someone PLEASE explain to me why is this manga so unbelievably high priced, considering it's even used???? It makes no sense!! From what I see this manga is the same as any of the other volumes of the same series, and seperately they all cost aprox. $7.99!!! Why are these USED manga of volume 9 of Eyeshield 21 priced at $46.01 or more???Another thing, I noticed this is first edition, but then why are the copies that are supposed to be new cost only $20.00 and the used ones are, like I said, $46.01 or more???
