Llewellyn's 2021 Witches' Datebook

I have bought one of these almost every year for over a decade and I love them, I enjoy the artwork and the recipes and the bits of information. It has a nice weekly planner area with big spaces to write in and a full month calendar at the start of each month. I love that they added an appendix at the back with little reminders about gemstones and full moon and herbs and such. They have been super useful to me for a very long time and I will continue to buy them yearly. I keep each one on my book shelf when I'm done with it so I can go back thru and retry recipes or read the stories sometimes. Amazing product.

In this day and age of digital planners and calendars, it's nice to find physical books still in production. I personally prefer physical date books due to ease of use and because I tend to remember things better when I physically write them out. Being a practicing Witch, it just seemed the natural choice to make the switch to a magically-minded planner. This one charts the moon's phases, its positioning, as well as planetary movements, retrogrades, etc. So, it saves me from trying to juggle even more apps - oh, and a phsyical book doesn't charge you a subscription to flip ahead! Truth be told, there can be a bit of a learning curve to figure out how exactly to read all the symbols and information; however, after about a month, I'm starting to get the hang of it and can decipher the information pretty quickly. This task is also made easier if you already know all the planetary and zodiac symbols by heart.Another added bonus of this book is the planting charts. Dates are marked with easy symbols that indicate their suitability for planting or harvesting. As a Witch with a garden, this might be one of my favorite parts. If you don't have a green thumb, this could easily be applied to metaphorical planting and harvesting (i.e. put intention and work in on a planting day, reap the rewards on a harvest day).The book also has recipes, Sabbat references, and full moon information (i.e. type of moon, its purpose, etc.). I haven't gotten into those much yet but we're hardly to the end of January.Overall, I'm very pleased and likely to return to Llewellyn for my planner in 2022.

Lots of information included, lots of space for important dates and appointments. Great for planning rituals throughout the year or for simply keeping track of moon phases. Spiral bound so it's easy to flip around in the planner and it also lays completely flat. Not hard back, so it conforms easily on your leg or when laid on the arms of a couch. Comes in handy that way. Covers are plastic coated so you can anoint with oil without damaging it and protected if you spill coffee or tea! Great planner to lay on your desk or stick in your bag/purse on the go.

I thought I wanted a pocket-sized planner, but after spending most of 2020 losing them (often in pockets), I realized this one is actually the perfect size because it's too big to lose, and a pen (I recommend fisher space pens) fits nicely in the binding thus solving the problem of losing the pen as well. Also unlike some websites and apps that have astronomical information with no times or time zones, or even worse, times but for a different time zone than the one listed, or for daylight saving time in the winter or standard time in the summer (I even caught Google Calendar listing future events at the present setting for daylight saving, so that any event after the time switch was an hour off, but they did have it fixed last I checked), this one has times clearly noted in EST or EDT, and the times are all correct (particularly nice for constellation spotting around the moon), so it's become my go-to reference for that info, and it even has the astronomical cross-quarter days listed (rather than just the conventional sabbat days)

I got this book along with the calendar and I absolutely love both of them so far. I love the artwork and I love the aesthetic it is so nice that it came with the spiral spine. I didn't actually realize that when I ordered it but I was pleasantly surprised. It's very informative it helps me keep up and I really really just love everything about it thanks so much for writing it I appreciate it and I hope others will too, highly recommend.

I buy one every year and I love it and it fits perfect in my drawer and as I said before if it's perfect in my laptop bag as well I know it's a late review, sorry

This is my absolute FAVORITE date book. I purchase them every year. Can't go wrong with these. Especially if you're into astrology, herbs, recipes and planning by the moon.

I really like this 12 month calendar. Lots of information and recipes for the different seasons. So far the only issue I had was not with the book but the way it was shipped. It was just thrown in the box with the bag of dog food I had ordered, so by the time I received it, it was bent up from sliding around in the box. Was a little disappointed in that but I just piled several books on top of it to straightened it out.

Segunda vez que la adquiero y no puedo vivir sin ella, tal vez el espacio es pequeño para escribir pero tampoco es un diario, es una agenda. Aparte tiene algunos hechizos o recetas y las fases lunares. Muy completa. Un poco cara y no tiene hojitas a color pero me funciona

This is my second year getting this datebook. It's full of witchy info, recipes, spells etc - but anyone could enjoy this book as long as you aren't offended by pagan stuff ... if I'm being honest though, what makes it my favorite is that there are black and white illustrations throughout the book that are so gratifying to color in. Plenty of them are small enough that you could color them in with a spare 5-10 min. It's the perfect mini-break, a short meditation of sorts.

The information included is based on history, seasons, Sabbats, recipes, spells, tips and much, much more! The illustrations included are beautiful and inspirational!The Datebook for 2021 is just as wonderful as every other year! I highly recommend!

Beautiful and inspiring agenda with great info about Moon cycles, zodiac changes of dates and suggestions for wearing the color of the day. It contains recipes and stories! The best part is the size: is like a handbook ideal for carrying in your purse.
