FinishDual Action Dishwasher Cleaner: Fight Grease & Limescale, Fresh 8.45 oz.(Pack of 4)

Our dishwasher is in a house that we used to rent out in the summer. Heaven knows what people were putting in the dishwasher. So before using this product, I took the lower washer arm out and took the parts out of the bottom of the dishwasher. They were pretty gunky. I ran some hot water over them and basically got rid of the majority of the stuff that was stuck to the parts and the filter. Then I just took the paper off the top of the cover, turned it upside down and ran the dishwasher.Unlike other reports, I had no problems with the wax not melting. The instructions on the bottles I got were definitely not in a foreign language, and it left my dishwasher spotless. I suspect that people who had issues with the wax not melting may not have their water set to a very high temperature. We tend to keep our water temperature a little on the high side because we have one of those instant hot water heaters.I think it's a great product and am glad I bought four of them.

Works very well and leaves dishwasher looking, smelling and working like new. I followed the simple directions and got great results.Since our dishwasher was working somewhat poorly, we did have to do the treatment twice. It looked great after the first application,but seems things were still a bit clogged. After the second application, our dishwasher works great! Neither of us thought thecitrus smell was strong or objectionable. I also had no issues with the wax seal not melting away (it is supposed to melt), as others havereported. I have since used this on my Mother's dishwasher with the same great results.This product works and is worth every penny!

Starting off with my issue. I used some of those dry puck dishwasher detergent things and they either didn't dissolve all the way or didn't rinse away very well, whatever the case was it left a rather thick powdery coating allover my dishwasher and all the dishes that were in it. I read on the internet all these home remedy things, vinegar, baking soda, clorox, lemon juice, none of that crap worked, didn't budge it. I ended up just doing all the dishes in it by hand but you still never get it all off completely. I then did another batch of dishes and the residue from the dishwasher then transferred back onto my dishes! When it was all said and done, this took everything off the inside of my dishwasher and took the scum off my dishes. to be 100% honest I also used Lemi-Shine but that left a little dusting of scum on everything, but this seemed to get everything.

I used this product on a rather new dishwasher that I purchased 2 years ago, so I really can't say for sure that any accumulated grease or fat was eliminated by this product except to say my dishwasher looked cleaner and had a better smell afterwards. My main purpose for using this product was to maintain the integrety of my dishwasher.

I have purchased these many times, and it works great. Well worth the money. I highly recommend this product.

I was VERY HAPPY to see such a great value for the amount i paid for this!!! Our dishwasher was extremely dirty & it wasn't even cleaning the dishes anymore. So, I bought this product, knowing that Finish is a great & trusted product, but ours had ran empty for several weeks. After using this once, our dishwasher was so clean (except for rust stains which we knew it probably wouldn't remove). It was so easy to use!!! Our dishes now come clean on the first time, every time!! & since I bought it about 2 months ago, we have only used one & have several to use as needed in the future!!!

Admittedly, I had never washed my dishwasher until I asked my neighbor how she keeps her dishwasher so clean. She gave me an Affresh dishwashing tablet along with a Finish liquid for me to try, and it made the inside of my machine look brand new! I had no idea such items exist, but will be using them from now on! Highly recommend!

Man I had this fetid stench like you wouldn't believe emanating from deep within the bowels of my dishwasher. It was causing all my dishes to smell like a combination of tuna and onions. Imagine eating cereal and then tasting fish. That's what I was dealing with. I did 3 cycles where I poured vingear in there and left a cup full of vinegar on the top and bottom racks. Ran it on sani-wash. Didn't help. Did a load with baking soda. Ran another with vinegar. Poured vinegar and baking soda down my drain and disposal. Re-ran the dishwasher with more vinegar. It still smelled like the maw of some briny horror. In desperation I Amazon Primed a quad pack of this stuff and ran the cycle with it on the bottom rack. Hours later, it doesn't smell! My dishes no longer reek of some fetid, piscine terror. I recommend giving this stuff a try if you find a localized portal to hell inside your very own dishwasher.
