Terrific item! The mirror is a good size, and the lighting around the outside gives great illumination. The metal arm and frame are a good weight - not at all flimsy. I purchased this to replace an un-lighted mirror of the same design. Fortunately, I was able to simply remove the old one from the wall mount (finger tight nuts hold it to the wall) and put on the new one. All good. The package did include a metal plate and screws to affix to the wall. The round chrome cover that holds the mirror's arm then screws onto that with little nuts that you can tighten securely with just fingers.The light I purchased is 1x on one side, and 10x on the other. Although I do love the mirror and have no intention of returning it, I recommend a 5x rather than a 10x. The "sweet spot" on a 10x is relatively small, and I must get quite close to the mirror to focus. The 10x magnification is more than I need for basic makeup and grooming. Besides, a 10x reveals just a little too many imperfections! I would prefer just a little more fantasy and a little less reality. ;)In sum, a well made, useful item.

I am of the school where immediate reviews are not very helpful. I want to know how durable things are and how long they last. Well, I've had this for a few months so really it's not as it should be so I'm breaking my rule here. I'm doing it because I'm pretty sure I know how durable it is. That would quite durable!Installation was easy. The arm is pretty strong, but after a time there is some slight drooping. I installed mine just a tiny bit higher than I thought I needed because I figured some drooping would occur and it did. In truth, I see tons of complaints about that on this model and another similarly priced model and honestly, I figure they have to be younger folks because I'm here to tell you that even back when we had metal everything, all these mirrors droop. It's just a fact of life.Also, I saw one who said that you cannot move it up and down and so downgraded it. Well, none of these are made to do that. Those are especially expensive. It's designed for the use of one person so whomever that person is, it should be measured for said person. just be sure you're aware of that.My advice is to install it just a wee bit higher than you normally would. The droop is actually about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch.One useful thing I've found is using it for ambient light. I will take a relaxing bath and turn it on. Though the light isn't warm, it's still bright enough to see, but low enough to keep it relaxing.I have not tried to change the light bulb but know that this is a very cool light. If you work in an environment with cool light (most offices, etc.) this will be helpful but for those in warm light (outdoors, etc.) may want to find out if you can change the bulb.Along those same lines, the light in the mirror is a little insufficient. It is bright and it does make it easier to see, but be prepared to have it installed near other lights. My lights are above my mirror in the bathroom. I bought this primarily because my vision isn't what it used to be and I needed the magnification without having to lean over my sink and breaking my back. I quickly noticed though that this light was not enough alone.All in all, it meets my needs, so that's why I am giving it 5 stars.

Works well, clear magnification, brightness as expected. The size is perfect and the stretch bar works well.

The light is almost non-existent. When I tilt the mirror and let go, the low quality metal bounces so I have to hold it still before I can continue. Buying the more expensive one like I should have originally and throwing this away.

We’ll the batteries don’t last long with this mirror but when they are fresh it works well. I don’t use the light much. I enjoy both sides of the mirror. The one side is ultra zoomed and works well for tweezing facial hair. The other side is great for applying makeup and fixing your hair. I’d recommend this mirror to all my friends and family.

This mirror is very nice. It has a very bright light so you can see easily and the magnifier is great for those who have trouble seeing.

It came with NO instructions or screws for wall mounting. I can't get the mirror unscrewed to insert the batteries (the plastic wrap is sandwiched between the front and back and is just jamming up the mirror. You can't 'twist' it to open it up. I'm assuming it needs to be twisted as the ONLY instructions are imprinted on the mirror itself with "open/close" and arrows pointing in the directions.I wouldn't buy again or recommend. I have no idea how to even install it. I'm going to need screws and guess as to what gets screwed/unscrewed in an attempt to mount it....Don't buy unless you have large, strong hands to unscrew the mirror to put in batteries and are handy enough to know how to mount it with zero instructions and NO hardware.Update: I was able to get the mirror off to insert the batteries. The mirror worked, however, when putting it back together, the mirror broke. It's in the garbage now.Don't waste your money on this product.
