Absolutely fantastic product!
I rarely write reviews but I'm so impressed with this product that I just had to! Easy to use, easy to clean, little waste (though our guinea pigs enjoy the leftovers anyway!) and makes vegetables far more exciting for kids and adults alike. Great to use 'Courgetti' in place of or to bulk out pasta. I know a lot of raw food converts love to use this to prepare raw vegetables but unfortunately (due to stomach surgery) I can't consume raw veg in large quantities but a quick blanche or stir-fry solves that. Next on the list to try are roasted sweet potato spirals!

does the job, requires elbow grease
well, I purchased this product in order to make healthy pasta's and have more vegetable in my diet which is completely lacking.I saw someone using something similar on instagram on one of the fitness accounts.it does the job very well however, i do find that from all the twisting and pulling, i am somewhat unable to make large portions for my family without having a bit of a pain in my hands and arms.also, because it carves out the middle of the vegetable, you are kinda loosing some of veggies. This works great for courgettes but not for other veggies.Of course if you don't mind the carving and wastage of the vegetable & you have a bit of arm muscles, then this would be ok for you.update: 27feb2014: it is amazing now that i know how to use it. just stick this to a CLEAN surface and its a piece of cake!

lots of veggie fun
this is cheaper than the other models as its purple!! its excellent HOWEVER; you cant really do carrots as there is a minimum width to foodstuff you can spiralize. So you can do a cucumber but unless its a very very fat carrot it doesn't work.lovely for salads and stir frys and a lot of fun. Not yet used for the "pasta" but i will do.Pros; has re-energized my salads and stir fries. Will add fun twists to soup ect,Cons; leaves a stalk of food in the middle as it doesn't spiralize all of it. Wastage I HATE. However we use the remaining batons of food in other ways so we don't waste it.very cheap compared to other brands that use all the food and dont leave the core.

Courgetti Spaghetti!
Decided to spaghetti my courgetti and it did exactly that. Plus it came with a few blades which slot into the base all nice and neatly so there are a few different options which is nice. It is as easy to use and clean and my husband chomped down the majority of his dinner before even asking me what the spaghetti was! It does leave a small core but it doesn't feel like a huge amount of wastage as it can easily be incorporated into the rest of the meal if chopped up or makes a nice snack for my chickens or dogs so not a problem for me - I think it's a trade off to get a spiral user that works well and this one came highly recommended (and I can see why). Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Courgettes everywhere... Watch out!

This is a little fiddly to use as there's no handle to push it along with your left hand as you are turning the handle, so I have found that (especially for hard veg like carrots) I have to put my hand between the blade and the handle to pull it closer and closer. Some of the screws have started to rust, I haven't had this very long. I wouldn't recommend other people to buy this product. I tend to slice up my courgettes by hand instead of using this unless I really really want "zoodles", simply because it's awkward to use, and the screws are going rusty already. Also the "clever" storage for the extra blades are in a place that gets them covered in juice and bits of vegetable, so unless you remove them before using the cutter, they also have to be washed after use. I'm pretty disappointed in this product.

A cut above the rest!
This item has been given many very favourable reviews on Amazon and elsewhere and that was the reason I bought it as a present. My partner is more than happy with it and I have been happy with the meals it has helped produce. The Spiralizer works fine on even tough vegetables like carrots. Wetting the suction pads helps to secure the unit to the worktop whilst in use. The unit is much larger than is evident from the photo and needs a larger shelf spacing for storage. One satisfied customer!
