Contain seal tight but are still easy to open. Microwavable, though I dont use them that way. I portion all my food with these. Super easy to clean and dont take up alot of space on the counter :). When I need more I will definately buy more. If you are looking to control your food intake?? These are them. I am doing the 21 day fix extreme now for a 2nd round (three week program where you use can use these containers or just normally daily eating). I lost 16 lbs and 6.5" from my neck to my waist and gained 4" total on my legs and arms.I have always had a problem with just eating TOO much food. This is my secret weapon. Btw I am not hungry. I can hardly each the 2300 calories I am supposed to and I east 6-8 times aday or if i miss a meal I make large 3-4 meals. THESE CONTAINERS ARE THE KEY. Its portion control and a well rounded set of foods. If your on fence, jump up and over... these are great. I have no connection with the company or product besides just using it. Also, recommend 21 dfx or just the 21 day fix. LOVE EM! So much energy and just feeling better.

I find it strange that people get all up in arms about folks receiving samples of products to provide a review. (note: I am not in this category for these, I paid full price with my own money). Picture yourself as a vendor with a new product, its hard to get your product out there especially in the world of amazon. How will you possibly get feedback on a product when its lost in the sea of amazon products? Me, as the buyer am always leary when a product has no reviews so I am less likely to purchase. Additionally, as a reviewer (whether provided a sample or not) I take great pride in providing helpful reviews to shoppers as I so heavily depend on them in my own online purchases. So don't just automatically discount a review just because they were provided a sample. Judge a review by how well thought out and detailed it is. {steps off soapbox}Heres the thing: this is tupperware. Its hard to get wrong right? so yeah, I can totally see why it would be easy to give these 5 stars. Which I am giving them. These are a good starter kit to get the feel for the 21 day program without forking over big bucks to BBF.

I love the containers for my clients. As a personal trainer, when I have a client struggling with weight loss, these are great reminders of what portions size is much closer to in reality. These containers are great they all fit inside each other and are of good quality. The lids fit well. The bright colors help to to associate with each food type, carbs, protein, nuts and seeds etc. The only issue is the instructions that come with the containers are to supplement other knowledge that the original program provides. You need a bit of self knowledge to figure how to use these. As long as you don't expect extensive, complete instructions these will work. I needed just the containers so these worked well for my purpose.

I've had this product for over a month now.It is an excellent tool. I use it for portion control as a visual it helps so much. I use the containers for serving food and then move everything into a plate. I do not eat out of the containers for it defeats its purpose. I bought the 21 day fix program almost 2 months ago at yard sale for $7-8 didn't come with the containers. I looked for them and this happened to be my cheapest solution. I am so glad I got them. I am getting my family into the habit of using the containers for portion control.As described they are microwave safe (tested it out for review purposes). I've not tried freezing them, realistically speaking its not what I bought them for and will probably never freeze anything in them.The containers are small, true to their colors. The lids fit tightly. I cannot say anything about spills I use them only at home, when I prepackage any meal I do it at home then place it in regular topper-ware.If you are trying to lose weight in a healthy way, give this a shot. It comes with a set of guidelines on how to use it. Or you can google the 21 day fix nutrition guide and there is a link from SAPO that provides the fix eating guide in pdf form. Should be one of the firsts one to pop up on the search. Also there are many 21 day fix recipes, meal plans, and just a lot of ideas and help out there.You do not have to cut out food groups, or starve yourself in order to lose weight. it is very frustrating trying to research a product by reviews and finding that each person was given a discount in exchange for a review. not a good marketing tool. if the product is good, that alone will sell itself. I actually feel like "paying" for those reviews is not honest. while the review may be true by the consumer, it puts a bad taste in my mouth for the product.now for my review.what a wake up call. I am seriously overeating. the company could not have broken this down any easier for us. it doesn't need directions. if you can't figure it out, that's a serious problem. they are color coordinated and in the pamphlet that comes with it, you figure out your calorie intake, match it up and the grid shows you how many boxes of the colors you should consume in a day. once your weight falls, check your calorie intake because you might need less food!and the person that wrote the review for inconvenience bc you want more boxes; prep you meals,portion them out into snack ziplocs or larger meal prep containers.these things are great and I only see success for me.I wasn't offered a discount on this product, I gave an honest opinion bc I wanted to.

Bought these about 6 or 8 weeks ago. I expected more of the meal plan supplied which is just a one page leaflet. This leaflet was a little unclear but after reading carefully, created my own. The containers are colorful but the measurements on the containers are so tiny, I have to put my glasses on with the container up to the light to be able to read it. I used a permanent marker to write on them and on my own instruction sheet.The containers are very sturdy but after a few dishwasher rounds, some of the covers don't snap on as tightly. I would not recommend this to a friend. Find a portion control meal plan of your choice and do your own measuring..
