Not a padding at all, just like putting a very thin blanket under pool. I thought I was a cushion like padding and was not soft on feet at all

Pad wasn't sewn together properly/evenly. It would not lay flat under the pool liner. Disappointed is the correct word.

The bottom feels much better and is just slightly stiffer
Kept footprints from developing in the liner. The bottom feels much better and is just slightly stiffer. This makes a much better feeling bottom. Highly recommend this .
