I opted for a standard AAA battery light over a rechargeable USB light as the life of this unit with the standard battery meets my needs without having to pay the extra money for the rechargeable unit or worrying about replacing the entire light when the rechargeable battery wears out.This thing is incredibly bright. I'm not likely going to be able to use the flash mode when riding in a group. Thankfully, this has multiple modes, so that shouldn't be a problem.I currently have it attached to the loop on the under-seat saddle bag. I'm a bit worried that it's too loose, so I'm going to keep an eye on it when I finally do get outside for a ride. It does come with a seat post mount, but I prefer to keep it on the saddle bag for better visibility and less possibility of light obstruction. Heaven forbid that I lose it, but I would buy another to replace it.

I own about 4 of those lamps and decided to buy 3 more because they simply are the best rear bicycle lights out there IMHO, even comparing with much more expensive models. However, I did not buy the same brand this time around, assuming (which was a big mistake) that these were of exact same quality as the identical model called "SafetyZone Metro Light" which I own 4 of. In fact, out of the 3 items I purchased, one did not light up at all, one fell apart when I tried to open it and the last one would not open. Is this is some cheap counterfeit of the excellent product I own? I don't know because the box says these too as manufactured in Taiwan and they are priced very similarly. In any case these products have "2 EYE" written on the side and their quality is just horrendous! Do these guys even care to examine some of the items at random from time to time before shipping them out to the customers? I am returning the 3 defective units right away and will go ahead and order 3 of the "SafetyZone Metro Light" model instead. So much time lost on this it was definitely worth writing about it.

Works great, decent battery life. Took off a star as the mounting bracket it comes with is awful, large and unwieldy. The clip on it is too long to fit securely in mounting brackets from planet bike and pdw that I already had (and seem to be a standard size). Great price.

This is a very bright tail light! It should be easily visible not only at night but also during the day. It includes a mounting bracket so it can be mounted on a bicycle seat, but it can be easily removed from the mount and attached to clothing with the included built clip. The light it produces is brightest directly in front of the lamp, but at night, it can be seen for more than 180 degrees around the lamp.If you ride a bicycle or trike on the road where cars travel, you should have this tail light.​

Use on my dogs collar at night. Does the job really well. Fun seeing this light blinking going through the woods on the dog. Much brighter than the those collars lights of which I have two.

Light is very bright and the selectable blink pattern is good. However, the internals of my light were quite fragile, and the josteling of the light attached to my bag must have been enough to break a circuit or connection and the light stopped working after a week.

Didn't work, had to return it. Too bad because I really needed it for an early morning ride the day after I received it.Updated review- This company gave great customer service by quickly sending me a new working light. It is very bright and works great for my early morning rides.

This bike tail light cuts out when batteries are low instead of just getting dimmer. As in any quality light. This is very dangerous to any bike rider since all of the sudden you can not be seen. After returning from an evening ride and testing the batteries and finding out that they are only slightly used ,and will still work on other tail lights. I returned the lights to amazon they would not credit my account for one that had been used. Never buy this product
