Q: Any advice on bending to make smaller? Love this but is Very hard to bend.

Yes, very hard to adjust!! - I put on a pair of rubber gloves (for a good grip) & just kept trying to bend it on each end & eventually got it to fit my thumb (it did take a while but it took some of the black engraved but off) OR try using a pair of pliers on each end
