Amazing Taste!
This is a wonderful tea.Its a really pleasant earl grey, with a hint of rose that makes it stand out from other earl grey teas. Its easily become one of my absolute favorite teas. However, for the price, 12 teabags does'nt last very long (They are so tasty, you could easily drink half the box in a day)Worth the money if your getting them as the occational treat, but as a every day tea, it could become a expensive habit.

Words Cannot Describe How Much I Love These Tea Bags!
Words Cannot Describe How Much I Love These Tea Bags! You can't get anything like them anywhere else. I used to get something similar from Waitrose, but then the discontinued. Love these guys -- they even take care to use sustainable packaging. What's not to love?

Dislikeable branding and packaging mis-sells some nicely subtle and different tea flavours
Offblak have put a lot of thought into the modern design and marketing of this tea, and for me that aspect is hit and miss- the glib remarks on the back, where the “feels like” comments is a direct contradiction to the last comment on the ingredients list (I can’t post it here but if you read the back of one of the packs you’ll know what I mean). It’s colourful and very millennial. The long thin packs are actually quite convenient for storing in the cupboard, but in every other respect it feels over-the-top and wasteful- especially the individually foil wrapped bags- and I would rather that the tea spoke for itself. And it does speak for itself, but maybe just not well enough to justify all the other fuss (and the asking price which is currently on the extravagant side). From this pack the flavour I expected to find as my favourite was the Earl Grey & Rose. As a regular Earl Grey and (Twinings’) Lady Grey drinker with a sweet tooth, it sounded right up my street- and sure enough it is very pleasant, but it’s not as smooth as I thought it might be. The rose manifests itself mainly in the smell, both when brewing and drinking, but the actual taste is a more regular Earl Grey and if you tried to drink this whilst pinching your nose, you would be hard pushed to distinguish this from a regular Earl. The Spicy Orange & Ginger is the surprise of the bunch. Again there’s a lot of emphasis on the smell, which is an aroma of mulled wine and Christmas, but as somebody not keen on excessively tangy ginger, I was pleasantly pleased with the taste, where the ginger doesn’t dominate at all. Instead it’s a straightforward black tea with just a subtle hint of gingerbread to it, which coupled with the nice aroma, makes it an unexpected highlight. The Masala Chai is also remarkably subdued as well. It’s certainly a chai, and oddly seems more gingery than the Spicy Orange & Ginger (and no I didn’t get them mixed up!), but compared to others I’ve tried, it’s certainly on the mild side, with a taste that’s quite biscuit-like, and which is a nicely moderated twist on a black tea without too much novelty spice or bitterness.I am tempted to knock another star off my four-star rating because of the individual foil wrapping on the teabags. The marketing of this product has studiously avoided making any claims about sustainability or eco-friendly production, and it’s clear to see why. Not all posh tea is eco-friendly tea, as this pack shows. One other minor disappointment was that when I received this pack, the manufacturing date on the box was over a year earlier- and the ‘best before’ date just over six months away. So if you are obsessive about ‘fresh’ tea (despite the foil wrapping etc.), this seems a little poor. I’m not fussed myself and it hasn’t affected the tea flavour in any way that a plebian like me could detect, but others might be less than impressed considering the price.Overall this tea is more style than content, unfortunately, and the current pricing is certainly excessive. But it is still very tasty and drinkable and the quality good enough to tempt me to try some of Offblak’s other and more distinctive flavour combinations.

Broken bags
I bought two packs of this tea, unfortunately, a lot of the bags were broken and therefore unusable. This is not a strong tasting masala tea unfortunately, the cinnamon notes etc. are very subtle and I drink the tea black so I imagine if you add milk the flavours would be even more subtle.

Great taste
Bought for my daughter as it’s the only tea she will drink.
