a7S Battery Package for Sony a7S, a7S II, and a7R II Cameras, 5200mAh

This battery is for Sony cameras that use the NP-FW50 battery. .I test burned that battery. Remarkably it lasted for 15 hours! That is amazing. That equates to 15,300 mAH. The unit was always cool. It did not overheat. No apparent problems. The camera "low battery" light came on after a couple of hours, but that was an incorrect "idiot light" from the camera. As I said, I had full functionality for 15 hours!

Can't recommend this battery. Came fully charged. Purchased to use on set for a micro-budget feature. The battery worked great the first day. The problem came at the end of the day when we needed to recharge it. Plugged it in and left it to charge overnight. Did not take the charge. Won't light up. Have send numerous emails and left voicemails with the Varavon contacts on their site but to date have not heard anything back from them. No customer service equates to "you take your chances." Indie filmmakers don't have the budget for that. We can do as well when we DYI our gear.

It is for my Sony Alpha 7 for long exposure night shooting. I works perfectly.
